Overview:  The Arlington Heights Park District is looking for people who are interested in officiating youth soccer games in the spring and fall.

Duties:  Officiates soccer games per AYSO soccer rules and regulations and in accordance with the Park District’s soccer program; starts and complete games on time and controls time outs during the game; clarifies rules to program participants and resolves any rule or scoring disputes; observes actions of participants to detect any rule infractions; maintains a fair manner with all teams and individuals; and maintain a positive attitude and enforce sportsmanship at all times

Qualifications:  The minimum age for soccer referees is age 14 and up.  Referees aged 14 and 15 must be able to provide a valid work permit.   Strong knowledge of the playing and scoring rules of soccer; strong knowledge of AYSO soccer rules and regulations; and ability to communicate with youth and adults.

Hours:  Games are played on Saturdays and occasional weeknights.

Wages:  Per game pay varies by officiating experience and referee's certification status.

Activity Leader is responsible for leading and supervising children in a variety of activities during the before and after school program.

Qualifications:  Ability to work well with and relate to school-aged children; ability to provide excellent customer service to school-aged children and their parents.

Duties:  Works directly with the participants by leading or supervising them in activities planned by the CAP Site Director; assists with the set-up and clean up after each activity, game or craft; prepares and serves snacks, as required, and assists the participants in cleaning up after snack times; greets participants and their parents upon arriving and leaving the site; and assists the CAP Site Director in inventorying and maintaining CAP program supplies.

Zumba Instructor – Forest View Racquet and Fitness Club

Duties:To teach scheduled Zumba classes.

Qualifications: Zumba certification as well as CPR and AED certifications.

Hours: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - 9:30am - 10:30am

Salary: $35 per hour based on qualifications and experience
