Delete a Job Posting

It is generally not a good idea to delete a posting that has applicants for it. Deleting a posting makes it impossible to determine who applied for the posting at a later date. It is better to close the posting and remove it from the administrator's screen by following the instructions on how to show/hide vacancies.

If you need to delete a posting, you can do so.

Here's how:

1) Click on the Job Postings tab. If needed, use the links to left to view Closed, All or other postings to ultimately find the posting you want to delete.  Note that only inactive vacancies can be deleted.

2) Place a check in the checkbox to the left of the posting.

3) Click the Delete Records button.

4) You will get a confirmation box.  If there are applicants in the posting, you'll need to scroll down to find the delete button- otherwise, click Yes and the posting will be deleted.
