Is knowledgeable in DESE, program, and district policies and procedures and acts to ensure compliance.
Assists in management of records including, but not limited to, daily attendance logs and children’s files.

The Cafeteria Cook plays a key role in preparing and serving nutritious, attractive, and safe meals to students and staff at Acton-Boxborough Regional Schools. Acton-Boxborough Regional High School is hiring a .6 FTE reading teacher to work with students in our Special Education and English Language Education programs.
Qualified candidates will have experience using a variety of methodologies (such as Wilson Reading System, Orton-Gillingham, Read Naturally, SPIRE, etc) to assess and provide instruction to students in a small group setting. Board Certified Behavior Analysis
We are seeking Master's level candidates with their Board Certification in Behavior Analysis for this position who have demonstrated experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and other disabilities. Licensure as a special educator is preferred but not mandatory.. Qualified candidates should be able to conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses; providing behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The BCBA will teach others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and will deliver instruction in behavior analysis. The following outline of the role and responsibilities is intended to provide a broad overview, but is subject to change according to the needs of the school district, as required by the Superintendent of Schools.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct staff training and development around principles of ABA.
Provide program/individual staff consultation on implementation of BIPs. .
Provide program/individual staff consultation on development/implementation of Discrete Trials curriculum.
Participate in Team consultation meetings with classroom teachers/related service providers/paraprofessional staff.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), ABLLS-R and/or VB-MAPP
Modify training materials when needed.
Review required BIP and Discrete Trial programs with new employees.
Schedule and document personal provision of services to students, as outlined on IEPs
Provide guidance for and indirect monitoring of staff entries in daily intervention notes
Engage in social-behavioral elements of annual IEP process (attendance at Team mtgs, updating of PLEP B, update of current performance data, development of goals/benchmarks, progress reports, , etc.) as needed.

The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District is seeking a school psychologist to provide a continuum of psychological services, including consultation, prevention, assessment, and intervention, to a diverse population of students. The school psychologist will work with educators, administrators, families, and community providers to positively impact students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being. The psychologist will work within the special education department as a building-based team member, completing psychological evaluations and providing counseling services as outlined on student IEPs. In addition, they will work collaboratively with the school counselor and administration to enhance social-emotional and mental health supports and services across the school community. Based on the standards outlined through the National Association of School Psychologists domains of practice, the successful candidate will have experience and responsibilities as follows:
Data-based decision making, consultation, and collaboration across all areas of practice
Direct and indirect services for students, families, and schools
Student-level: special education evaluation; IEP development; mental and behavioral health services and interventions, including group and individual counseling; academic intervention and instructional supports
Systems-level: school-wide practices to promote learning; services to support safe and supportive schools; family, school, and community collaboration
Participation in special education team meetings and building-based problem-solving teams

Qualifications
The candidate will have experience as a school psychologist in the public sector and be familiar with the special education process, laws, and regulations.
