High School Diploma plus training
Demonstrated Computer Skills (Google and Microsoft Suites)
Good Clerical Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Such Alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Maintain files and records, process incoming correspondence as needed.
Perform the scheduling and bookkeeping tasks associated with district purchase orders and travel.
Take and transcribe dictation of various types, correspondence, reports, notices, and recommendations from the administrative designee.
Welcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
Give public notices and attend all board meetings.
Keeps full and accurate minutes of the Board and sends a copy of such minutes to each member prior to the next meeting.
Assist in the preparation of agenda-setting forth all known items of business to be considered at Board meetings and delivers said agenda to each member prior to the next meeting.
Prepare accurate reports as needed or instructed.
Gathers information and submits reports in a timely manner as required by state mandate.
Performs other duties as assigned.
