Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Apply knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of testing and assessment instruments to choose the most appropriate for students’ needs; administer tests and interpret assessment data and observations; conduct interviews and complete comprehensive reports.
2. Consult with teachers, parents, and school personnel to understand and address learning, social, and behavior issues; consult with individual students, student groups, and colleagues.
3. Deliver appropriate response during crisis intervention, including, but not limited to, suicidal statement and ideation; student and school personnel death; school, community, and national emergencies and natural disasters.
4. Facilitate position related in-service presentations/trainings and programs; participate in committees, as appropriate.
5. Provide leadership during interventions, including academic, behavioral, social and emotional, with target populations (e.g., individual student, classroom, parents, school-wide, school teams); conduct observations, data collection, interviews, assessments, and specific plan development; implement plans and monitor behavior plans.
6. Participate on specific team assignments, including CST, MDT, SAP, IST and IEP, with responsibility for facilitation, consultation, case management, record keeping, plan development, assessment, report writing, interviewing (i.e., students, parents, and teachers) and conducting referrals to and contact with community agencies and private counseling.
7. Collaborate with school community liaisons on referrals, meeting attendance, case management, plan development, and follow up monitoring.
8. Perform a variety of special education responsibilities, including, assessments (initial and reevaluation), participation in meetings, ER and RR writing, program consultation, and behavior plan development.
9. Provide support to nonpublic education in the areas of consultation, assessment, team meetings, development of ER, and development of IEP.
10. Participate in screening clinics and assessments during kindergarten registration; participate in preschool screening clinics, assessments, development of ER, interagency meetings, and IEP meetings.
11. Assist with school-age transition by participating in screening clinics, assessments, development of ER, interagency meetings, and IEP meetings.
12. Weapons violations with special education students - conduct manifestation determination, participate on team meetings and interviews with parent, teachers, and students; data collection, assessment, development of RR, and referrals to counseling agencies.
13. Provide peer support through individual counseling and referral to appropriate agencies/clinics, as well as through collaboration with fellow psychologists, teachers, and other school personnel.
14. Pursue professional growth and development through attending conferences, staff development sessions, and individual study; maintain collaborative relationships universities.
15. Supervise interns, as needed.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Summary:

Position Overview:

•  Practice Planning & Execution: Plan and lead team practices, ensuring safe and effective training, and fostering skill development.
•  Choreography & Routine Development: Create and teach routines, ensuring that they are innovative, safe, and in line with the school's values and standards.
•  Performance & Competitions: Prepare the team for local and regional performances and competitions, including overseeing transportation, equipment, and logistics.
•  Safety & Risk Management: Maintain a safe practice environment, ensuring all activities comply with school and district safety protocols.
•  Team Motivation & Mentorship: Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment where students develop confidence, teamwork, discipline, and respect.
•  Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff. Regularly update parents on team activities, progress, and upcoming events.
•  Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary administrative tasks, including scheduling, paperwork, and ensuring all required forms are submitted on time.
•  Collaboration: Work closely with the athletic department, other coaches, and school staff to support student athletes and promote school spirit.

Working Conditions:
•  This is a part-time, seasonal position during the school year.
•  Practices typically occur after school hours (e.g., 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM).

Summary

• Work closely with Technology, Curriculum and Facilities departments to use or develop tracking systems for inventory items.

 Summary
Under the supervision of the building principal, in conjunction with the Director of Literacy and the Director of STEM, the Intervention Specialist will deliver research-based interventions, perform academic assessments, analyze data, provide professional development aligned with district and school improvement goals and the ASD Strategic and Instructional Frameworks. The Intervention Specialist should demonstrate expertise in instruction, assessments, data analysis, leadership and collegial relationship skills.The Intervention Specialist will offer training to teachers in effective intervention and assessment and guidance to parents in methods to support the school-based interventions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:?
1. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the PDE Standards Aligned System (SAS), Higher Order Thinking, and Formative Assessment
2. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Resiliency and Classroom Management, with emphasis on knowledge of Restorative Practices and Trauma Informed practices
3. Supports teachers in utilizing early warning systems to assist in providing or developing appropriate instructional or behavioral plans.
4. Assists in team decisions regarding academic and behavioral needs of students (e.g., using curriculum-based assessments.
5. Designs and implements appropriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for literacy, mathematics and behavior.
6. Supports classroom teachers in data analysis, progress monitoring, designing and scheduling appropriate classroom-based interventions
7. Facilitates and coordinates meetings with various stakeholders to support, organize and manage the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) process
8. Works in a collaborative team approach to resolve, collaborate and problem-solve student concerns.
9. Knows and adheres to the rules of FERPA and other practices related to confidentiality.
10. Adheres to the rules and mandates of IDEA, Pa Code 22: Chapters 14 and 15 regulations.

7.      Designs and delivers high-quality professional learning experiences independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
8.      Provides leadership in planning workshops and in-service programs aligned with district goals and mandates.
9.      Supports data-informed decision making for all student groups, including English learners and students with IEPs.
