Key Responsibilities May Include:
Event Setup and Teardown:

Crowd Control and Safety:
• Monitor crowd behavior and proactively address any potential disturbances.

Event Operations Support:
• Assist event staff, officials, and athletes with various needs during the event.
• Help with timing, scoring, and compiling event statistics as required.
• Distribute promotional materials or merchandise to spectators.

Emergency Response:
• Be prepared to handle emergencies, including minor injuries or medical incidents.
• Follow established emergency procedures and safety protocols.
Post-Event Duties:

Rate of pay:

Qualifications
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nutrition, or Hotel and Restaurant Management.

• Required: Two years of experience in health/safety, employee relations, or training functions for a food service organization (preferably in education).
• Preferred: Previous supervisory experience and food service experience in an educational setting.

Transportation Route Coordinator

The Transportation Route Coordinator, under direction of the Transportation Director, is responsible for scheduling, planning, organizing, and executing transportation services with schools and bus contractors by maintaining safe and efficient transportation for all students transported by the district. This position strives to meet transportation requirements, guaranteeing compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, while also working within the district's policies and guidelines.  The person will continuously monitor outcomes and ensure compliance with the district's service and safety expectations which align with the district mission, "to effectively educate each of our students for success."  This individual performs responsibilities in a manner which builds and maintains working relationships with all stakeholders.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains bus schedules transporting eligible public, non-public, charter, homeless/highly mobile, treatment, foster care, early childhood, summer school, and activities of students, both in and outside the district, along with those who attend various other specialty program sites.
• Supervises routes servicing specific geographic/programmatic areas of the district and assists in all others.
• Responds to problems on routes, and serves as a liaison between the school staff, administrators, contractors, and parents regarding transportation needs.
• Uses various data systems to review students with special transportation needs to provide proper services in a timely manner.
• Monitors and reports changes in ridership using monthly load count information.
• Maintains schedule variations in route service based on program calendars.
• Develops and maintain databases of information used to provide statistical documentation for district and state transportation reports.
• Maintains the student routing software as needed to provide accurate information for routing and reporting.
• Assigns students to bus stops, determines proper stop sequencing, determines the number of routes needed for each site/program, and establishes route combinations for the most efficient use of all vehicles.
• Assists in the ongoing management and evaluation of the Transportation Services program, participates in continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as a member of the Transportation Safety Committee.
• Assists with the verification of monthly route invoicing and in the auditing of bus contractors to ensure compliance with district policies and procedures.
• Assists in the setup and coordination of school bus and type III service contracts.
• Fields concerns/questions from staff and the public relative to routing as well as any questions related to the department's technological applications, or overall operations, and takes corrective action to the problem(s) as necessary.
• Collaborates on data management systems that track all bus route data necessary for the annual transportation report, along with records related to route operations, student discipline, and special transportation requests.
• Works with school administration and designated staff on student management related issues, investigates problems of student discipline, property damage, complaints, and overloads; and implements immediate solutions.
• Performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as the Director of Transportation may assign.
 
Work Environment:
It is the vision of the Anoka-Hennepin School District to be a public school system of excellence, with high quality staff and programs and successful graduates.  As a Transportation Route Coordinator, the individual will primarily work on-site, indoors, in an office environment, mainly on a computer and telephone.

 
Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of school bus routing, operations, dispatching and how school transportation systems work.
• Ability to analyze data and make necessary changes to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.

• Two years of experience in school bus route development, implementation, and coordination; or three years of experience involving dispatching, scheduling, and coordination of school buses in a fleet operation; or similarly related education and work experience.
• Advanced degree (e.g. Associates, Bachelors).
• Previous school district or contracted school bus operations experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of school bus transportation laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of computerized routing software systems, including all set ups, routing sequencing, bus utilization, student load parameters, timing of bus routes relative to school start/end times, safe stop locations, and student data management.

• Experience with Tyler Technologies' Versatrans computerized routing system along with various GPS vehicle-tracking systems.

Adventures Plus is a child care program located in various elementary schools throughout the District to provide before and after school care for elementary age students.
 
Duties:  Includes both Site Leader and Lane 2 Child Care Assistant duties.  Shifts will be approximately 3.75 hours/day as a Site Leader and 2.25 hours/day as a Lane 2 CCA - subject to change.
 
Site Leader Duties:  Plan and carry out activities for school age children and supervise children involved in the program.  Supervise Child Care Assistant staff and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Lane 2 Child Care Assistant Duties:  Support a child with special needs, according to the child’s inclusion plan.  Supervise and interact with school-age children and assist in planning appropriate activities.  Perform a group leadership role if requested.  Perform other duties as assigned.

Aquatics - Pool Shift Supervisors
Part-Time -  up to 10 hours/week 
 Weekday evenings, Saturdays 8:30 am - 4:00 pm; Sunday evenings  3:30 pm - 4:00 pm;
Possible additional hours due to rentals,  Must be avaialbe a munimum of two weekends per month.

Location:  Roosevelt Middle

Duties:  Responsible for opening and closing facility.  Manage admission and registration.  Assist with observation and evaluation of swim instructors and lifeguards.  Attend and co-lead monthly staff inservice training.  Communicate regularly with Aquatics Supervisor regarding pool/lesson issues.  Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Experience supervising and training staff.  Experience in teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, and swim coaching (all or some combination of experience).  Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Strong computer skills.  Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certificate in Lifeguarding or the ability to acquire certification in the first six months of hire.  Ability to work with large groups of people.  Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.  Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.  Must be physically working in the building.

Rate of Pay:  $17.95-$19.75/hour and up, DOQ.

 - monitoring and recording student progress in instructional areas (academics, daily living skills, dressing , grooming, social skills, etc.)
 - managing physical needs (toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting, positioning, transporting students in wheelchairs, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Personal Care Assistant certification required to be completed within 30 days of start date.  Candidates must have completed 60 semester/ 90 quarter credits or obtained an associate degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or have passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam. (Documentation will be required)
Good communications, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills.  Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.  Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff.  Ability to supervise students.  Ability to take direction.  Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.  
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.  Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices, materials handling, data functions and people functions, but not limited to toileting, feeding and self-care procedures, implementing behavioral management program; maintaining student data; working with students who may display aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate verbal and/or physical behavior.  Must be physically working in the building.

Rate of Pay:
$20.00/hour to $25.30/hour DOQ with K-12 experience
$21.15/hour to $26.45/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience*
$22.00/hour to $27.30/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
Special Ed Paras serving Centerbased students and classrooms 50 percent or more of their time shall receive an additional $0.50 per hour.
Special Ed Paras at Two Rivers Transition Program or River Trail Learning Center shall receive an additional $1.00/hour.
*Candidates must have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or obtained an associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or have passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam. (Documentation will be required)
