Minimum Qualifications:
• Must hold a NJDOE Certificate OR current Monmouth County Substitute Certificate
• Must meet N.J.S.I.A.A. guidelines, showing current CPR/First Aid and AED Certification (Cannot be taken on-line).
• Must have successful experience in the area which you are applying.
• All new coaches will have 120 days after being hired to register for the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (Blended Version) Course.
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid." Course at NFHSLearn.com or an equivalent taught at a school by a certified instructor/athletic trainer.
• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid." Course at NFHSLearn.com or an equivalent taught at a school by a certified instructor/athletic trainer.
• Yearly training in Concussion and Heat Acclimatization and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
• Coaches currently in place, and/or who have experience coaching in an NJSIAA high school prior to the 2006-2007 school year, will be exempt from provisions 2 and 3 above. (While experienced coaches will not be required to adhere to all of the provisions listed above, it is recommended that all coaches complete the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sports First Aid Courses.)
• All certifications mentioned above must be uploaded to your online application. Prior experience in the AREA which you are applying must be noted on your application.  

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct all daily practices and maintain daily attendance.
• Attend all athletic events pertaining to your sport.
• Ensure that all student-athletes are concussion tested, have completed their physical examination and have been cleared by a physician.
• Ensure that all student-athletes have on file a Media Consent Form.
• Ensure that all student-athletes have handed in their signed form by their parent/guardian that was in included in the State's Concussion Policy.
Terms:
• Stipend as per APEA Negotiated Agreement
• Athletic Coordinator/Building Administrator

All appointments and stipends are contingent upon sufficient student participation and state mandated health guidelines and NJSIAA regulations.

Nature And Scope Of Job:
This School Nurse will serve as the primary advocate for the health and well being of students and staff at assigned school as well as two Preschool providers in district.  Responsibilities include health screening and services, emergency first aid, the care of those who are ill and/or injured while in the school, maintenance of health records, and instruction in sound health practices. School Nurses are expected to respond to health emergencies, administer necessary medications as well as to assist medically fragile students district-wide, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
 
• A valid NJDOE School Nurse Certificate #3000 or a valid NJDOE School Nurse-Non Instructional Certificate #3010 (preferred) or
• Hold a valid, current New Jersey RN License.
• Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations
• Hold a Child Care Health Consultant Certification, preferred
 
Terms:
 
• Travel to Preschool consortium centers throughout Asbury Park is required
• Salary, benefits and leave time as specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Ten (10) month position
• Reports to the Supervisor of Early Childhood, Supervisor of Special Services and Principal

Nature and Scope of Job:
Assist the classroom teacher and students with instructional and non-instructional activities necessary for the implementation of a functional class environment that enhances student learning and responsible behavior.  This paraprofessional supports students with severe disabilities by assisting with instructional, behavioral and personal care needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have completed at least 2 years of study at an institute of higher education (earned minimum 48 college credits) Or hpass the ParaPro Assessment
• Experience with ABA Therapy preferred
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
• Show evidence of successful experience in working with children of all ages and educational needs
• Assists a student who may be physically challenged with movement among activities or with other physical needs, when necessary
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds as much as 20 times per day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Redirect a restless or inattentive student into appropriate activities.
• Be sensitive to and assist students with special needs and adjust the instructional tasks, as needed.
• Help young students and/or older special needs students with clothing, grooming, health habits, and bathroom activities which includes child in toileting and be able to perform proper diaper changing procedures when necessary.
• Display ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel and outside agencies associated with the school.

• Salary is $36,646 and benefits as specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
