International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator
Reports to: Building Principal Contract: Licensed - 197 FSLA Status: Exempt
Position Purpose Facilitate all aspects of implementation and growth of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) while maintaining communication between the school and the IB Organization. Provide student support, teacher support, is an active member of the leadership team, coordinate school authorization and evaluation, oversee MYP teacher training and regularly review program needs and progress.
Essential Functions • Ensure the concepts of international awareness and international mindedness permeate all subjects. • Lead recruitment efforts of students and parents on the merits of the IB program. • Monitor curriculum to ensure that the program is in compliance with IB standards.• Facilitate the implementation of the Exhibition, including gathering mentors and needed resources. • Schedule and coordinate appropriate IB events. Assist in coordinating facilities and logistics for the Community Project.• Assist teachers in the development and execution of the units of inquiry (IB curriculum). • Oversee the implementation of unit plans and the IB Learner Profile according to IB guidelines. • Promote the IB Programme and serve as a liaison to district stakeholders. • Support the implementation, monitoring and/or evaluation of assigned programs for middle school education, curriculum, and/or instructional support, and ensure that assigned programs are efficiently and effectively administered. • Support and participate in meeting the objectives of the school site improvement plans. • Provide ongoing required IB professional development for new school hires, returning staff, and administration. • Monitor training of personnel to ensure that the program meets IB standards. • Ensure payment of required fees in a timely manner. • Collaborate with administration on allocating the IB budget. • Meet regularly with the District IB Coordinator. • Coordinate departmental activities with other district offices and administrators and provide assistance to requesting departments. • Follow district and department policies and procedures. • Support the administration of state-mandated testing at schools in compliance with state and federal guidelines.• Monitor and review student, teacher, and school data. Recordkeeping: Verify the completeness and accuracy of student records, ensuring all required paperwork is up to date for each enrolled student. Process NWACC course request changes (drops/adds).

The Behavior Technician (BT) will operate under the direct supervision of the District Behavior Intervention Specialist (BCBA) as it relates to the identified behavioral needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. JOB DESCRIPTION: Technician II - General Fleet Technician TRN2
With direction, provide a wide range of technical services on fleet vehicles such as perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, as well as repairing and replacing parts. Complete and document all required forms and reports.
All tools and uniforms are provided by the school district.
Perform vehicle and equipment inspections based on mileage or hour meter reading as suggested by manufacturer.
Repair and replace tires, perform oil changes, and check fluid levels.
Ability to do clear and concise paperwork including parts and repair orders.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to undertake responsibilities with some initiative and judgment.
Help maintain shop cleanliness.
Use of hand tools such as screw drivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and pneumatic tools, as well as such tools precision instruments, welding equipment, jacks and hoist.
Use of computer and computer diagnostic software, attach test equipment, read dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
Installation and repair of camera systems, GPS devices and radios.
Safely lift vehicles and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoist.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Can perform a DOT pre trip inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Technical School Associates or industry experience with current/expired ASE Certificates or similar manufacturer certificates.
Wheel End & Brake Certificates.
Knowledge of mechanics, hand tools, shop equipment and vehicle components.
Current Class B CDL or will obtain Class B CDL (Obtain within three months of hire date.)
Preferred Qualifications
ASE Certified or equivalent Manufacturer Certifications
Five (5) years of school or industry experience.
