International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator
Reports to: Building Principal Contract: Licensed - 197 FSLA Status: Exempt
Position Purpose Facilitate all aspects of implementation and growth of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) while maintaining communication between the school and the IB Organization. Provide student support, teacher support, is an active member of the leadership team, coordinate school authorization and evaluation, oversee MYP teacher training and regularly review program needs and progress.
Essential Functions • Ensure the concepts of international awareness and international mindedness permeate all subjects. • Lead recruitment efforts of students and parents on the merits of the IB program. • Monitor curriculum to ensure that the program is in compliance with IB standards.• Facilitate the implementation of the Exhibition, including gathering mentors and needed resources. • Schedule and coordinate appropriate IB events. Assist in coordinating facilities and logistics for the Community Project.• Assist teachers in the development and execution of the units of inquiry (IB curriculum). • Oversee the implementation of unit plans and the IB Learner Profile according to IB guidelines. • Promote the IB Programme and serve as a liaison to district stakeholders. • Support the implementation, monitoring and/or evaluation of assigned programs for middle school education, curriculum, and/or instructional support, and ensure that assigned programs are efficiently and effectively administered. • Support and participate in meeting the objectives of the school site improvement plans. • Provide ongoing required IB professional development for new school hires, returning staff, and administration. • Monitor training of personnel to ensure that the program meets IB standards. • Ensure payment of required fees in a timely manner. • Collaborate with administration on allocating the IB budget. • Meet regularly with the District IB Coordinator. • Coordinate departmental activities with other district offices and administrators and provide assistance to requesting departments. • Follow district and department policies and procedures. • Support the administration of state-mandated testing at schools in compliance with state and federal guidelines.• Monitor and review student, teacher, and school data. Use findings to assist with planning targeted support for needed areas. • Foster positive morale by participating in team building activities and the decision making process. • Communicate and collaborate with school staff to enhance service delivery, program development, and stakeholder satisfaction. • Participate in professional development that increases effectiveness and improves District performance.

General Description of Position: The Early College Experience (ECE) Coordinator will manage the intake, processing, data tracking, and filing of all program-related paperwork, including applications, consent forms, course enrollment forms, and other administrative documents. The role will also include verifying accuracy, maintaining records, managing textbooks, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and facilitating communication among students, faculty, and administrative staff. The coordinator would work closely with building administrators who oversee the Bentonville Schools ECE program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Document Management: Maintain an organized system for all ECE paperwork, ensuring all documents are accurately processed and stored securely.
Recordkeeping: Verify the completeness and accuracy of student records, ensuring all required paperwork is up to date for each enrolled student. Process NWACC course request changes (drops/adds).
Compliance: Ensure adherence to NWACC policies, MOU agreements, and state regulations regarding dual credit enrollment.
Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for students, parents, and staff, addressing questions about enrollment requirements and deadlines.
Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with the registrar, academic departments, and student services to ensure seamless program delivery and student support.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on paperwork status, and enrollment figures, and identify potential issues for program oversight and improvement.
Follow-Up: Communicate with counselors, parents, and students when students fall behind in their coursework.

Position Summary
The Behavior Technician (BT) will operate under the direct supervision of the District Behavior Intervention Specialist (BCBA) as it relates to the identified behavioral needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. The BT will assist with behavior modification of identified students with autism, serious emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities in the school setting. The BT will be responsible for providing skills instruction to students using behavior reduction protocols based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. The BT will collect data to inform behavior plans, assist with staff training, and assist with Functional Behavior Assessments as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Provide direct student instruction, and assist staff with implementation of behavior plans in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements.
Follow behavior plans and implement social skills curriculums.
Conduct ABA interventions such as: Discrete Trial Training. Pivotal Response Training, Social Skills Training, and Self-Regulation Teaching
Assist with preparing materials as necessary.
Collect, record and summarize data on observable student behavior.
Assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments.
Document interventions, progress data, and session notes.
Assist with staff training of student’s individualized treatment and behavior change protocols, through direct teaching, modeling and fidelity checks.
Immediately report to BCBA any student incidents/variances or complaints.
Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the BCBA.
Collaborate school teams and attend IEP meetings as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by District Behavior Specialist.

Successfully complete or be in the process of completing an RBT initial competency assessment

receive ongoing supervision by BCBA that meets the RBT supervision, supervisor, and documentation requirements
adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and Self-reporting Requirements
complete an RBT renewal application every year, including an RBT Renewal Competency Assessment and fees, to maintain certification
