POSITION: Educational Technician I, II, III or Administrative Assistant – Student Transportation Support (Part-Time)
LOCATION: Biddeford Primary School
HOURS: Up to a scheduled 3 hours per week (no overtime) in addition to the primary role's contracted hours. The schedule will be as needed between 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM, 1-2 days per week (typically Monday-Friday, with schedule determined by transportation needs and depending on primary role's contracted hours)
REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Biddeford Primary School
POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides supervision and support for students who have been returned to school due to the absence of authorized adults at their bus stops. The Educational Technician will ensure student safety and well-being while awaiting parent/guardian pickup, and will assist with general office and building duties when no students require supervision.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per the most recent Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a part-time, variable-hour position with scheduling based on student transportation needs. Hours will typically be scheduled between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM on 1-2 days per week, with potential for additional hours during peak periods.
COMPENSATION: Per Educational Technician I salary schedule as outlined in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, pro-rated for hours worked.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Committee's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.

Residence Education Experience
Category: Early Elementary School Teaching Internship (4th Grade)
Location: Dayton Consolidated School
Residency Education Experience: The Residency Education Experience within the Dayton School Department is a year-long internship experience in which candidates have the opportunity to learn alongside a mentor teacher, and educate students in a co-teaching model with a graduated degree of responsibility phased in over the school year.
Overview: The Residency Education Experience is designed as a year-long internship, allowing candidates to observe and implement all aspects of teaching and managing a classroom from the first day through the final day of school. The Residency Education Experience requires a gradual increase of responsibility, where the Intern and the cooperating teacher/mentor work together in a co-teaching model with shared responsibility.
