Cherry Creek Academy (CCA) is an academically rigorous public charter school serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade. CCA utilizes the Core Knowledge© curriculum and values academic achievement, character development, and community service.
 
We are looking for a full time substitute for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with teachers. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Substitute for teachers in kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms

• Observes, evaluates, reports and records students' performance for the teacher to review

• Cultivate an inclusive and positive classroom environment with well-defined procedures that allows students to achieve at high levels

• Uphold all district and school policies regarding student safety

• Work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to provide a successful educational experience

• Perform other duties as requested
 
Requirements:
 
• Valid Colorado Substitute License
 
Job Type: Full-Time
 
Salary: $150.00 /day

Substitute Classroom Assistant

We are looking for an exceptional person to fulfill the role of reading aide. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with teachers.
 
 
 
Description:
 
• Supporting teachers and students in and out of the classroom

• Provide light grading

• Facilitating small groups and providing support to students in a 1:1 setting

• Collaborate with teachers to provide an excellent education for our students

• Differentiate lessons for various small groups

• Conduct Academic Assessments

• Provide student supervision

• Special projects as requested by the Leadership Team

High School Diploma

Starts at $16.50 an hour
