Position Title: Basic Nursing Assistant Training (BNAT) Clinical Supervisor
Reports To: D219 Director of Science & Oakton Community College Nursing
Program Coordinator
Essential Functions:
Teach D219 BNAT students the skills necessary to pass the clinical skills performance test. Skills include: infection control procedures, bedmaking, bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, skin care, elimination needs, restorative care, transfers, safety, vital signs, measuring fluids, collection of specimens, application, feeding, care of residents with tubes/drains, end of life care, communication skills, and activities.
Describe the role of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in health care.
Discuss how following the state and federal regulations enhances the quality of a person’s life in healthcare.
Demonstrate effective techniques in building relationships within the healthcare team.
Explain the philosophy of person-centered care.
Distinguish age related changes from normal functioning of the body systems.
Apply the philosophy of ability centered care approaches to the person with dementia.
Consultation with and evaluate student performance with a pass or fail grade.
Complete ongoing procedural performance checklists for each student.
Maintain an attendance log with sign in and sign out procedures.
Supervise students so they comply with rules pertaining to clinical practice (i.e. no cell phone use)
Manage the clinical placement assignments and communicate these assignments with students.
Communicate and ensure students complete CPR training, health requirements and background check prior to attending the clinical practicum.
Ensure students follow uniform policy and advise students on how to obtain uniforms.
Organize and distribute equipment such as blood pressure, gait belts, and disposable gloves.
Monitor students so they only perform tasks on assigned residents under the supervision of the instructor.

Goal of the Clinical Supervisor: The goal of clinical supervisor is to monitor students onsite
Calendar: January to March
Students will meet for 50 hours during this time. The clinical supervisor will supervise students during their clinical hours plus 10 hours of prep time. Make- up dates will also be included within the calendar.
Hours: 50 hours in 10 weeks (plus make-up sessions as needed)

International Club Sponsor Job Description
Position Title: International Club Sponsor
Reports To: Director of Student Activities
Maintains a variety of documents including club’s activity account budget, field trip forms, and attendance records for club meetings and events.
Recruits club members throughout the school year in order to keep an active club.
Follows fundraising procedures according to the Sponsor Handbook.
Submits Eduphoria Fundraiser Request Form for various fundraising events (i.e., bake sales, candy sales, and event ticket sales).
Completes the Eduphoria Recap Form after the completion of each fundraiser within a week of each fundraiser.
Supervises students during weekly meetings in accordance with D219 school policies.
Requests room space for weekly meetings and events to be approved and makes travel arrangements in advance.
Creates fliers and posters for weekly meetings which includes event time and location and obtains approval before posting.
Promotes and publicizes club meetings and events by utilizing PA announcements, fliers and posters, video announcements, and social media accounts.
Engages students in community service activities.
Maintains positive relationships with students, supports our diverse population, and interacts with students and adults in a respectful manner.
Sets goals with students to maintain purpose of the club.
Collaborates with the Student Activities Director to maintain the vision of the department.
Confirms the security of the facilities and ensures that students have a way to get home.
Plans activities to meet the needs, skills, and interests of the students involved.
Uses appropriate channels to resolve concerns and problems.
Adheres to D219 Board of Education policies and procedures and other professional agency policies.

Goals of the Club: The goal of International club is to create an inclusive setting for all clubs to gather and unite despite cultural and identity differences. In collaboration with clubs across all cultures, the International Club will organize yearly events to showcase diversity- such as the Winter Party, International Assembly, International Night and thematic weeks including Race and Identity Week.

Purpose Statement
The job of Skilled Maintenance Mechanic is done for the purpose/s of providing maintenance services with specific responsibility for ensuring completion of assigned work order projects; performing a wide variety of skilled maintenance activities (HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, carpentry); assisting other maintenance workers; working all shifts and acting on-call; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site.

Paraeducator Tutor Classroom Core
The job of Paraeducator Tutor Classroom Core is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for working with individual and/or small groups of students in assigned regular classroom; assisting with implementing plans for instruction; monitoring and reporting student behavior and performance; and providing information to appropriate school personnel.
