Under the leadership of the sponsor, club members educate and raise awareness through outreach to the school-community. The sponsor's role is to facilitate the activity and dynamics of the SADD chapter. The sponsor acts as a liaison between the students and the school administration and promotes a SADD chapter culture that is inclusive and collaborative. The sponsor also ensures that the chapter activities are aligned with the SADD mission and adhere to SADD and school policies.

SALARY: $55,519 - $90,000. District payment of health, dental, and/or vision (86% self, 76% family) coverage. Refer to the District's website regarding insurance plans/coverage.

Per agreement between Oak Lawn Community High School District 229 and Oak Lawn Teachers Union Council of Local 943, American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO. The rate for the 2026-27 school year is $22.50 per hour.

Qualifications:
Individuals interested in this position should have strong technical skills working with Student Information Systems, preferably Skyward Qmlativ. The ideal candidate would possess the following: minimum Bachelors Degree in Information Technology; proven experience as a student information systems specialist or similar role; excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work successfully with all District stakeholders; experiences reflecting strong organizational skills; solid aptitude for problem solving; interested in continued professional growth.
Compensation:
The Technology Specialist is a 12-month (260 days) position. Salary Range $70,000-$85,000. Benefits include: a competitive salary to commensurate with educational background, preparation, and experience; an annual allotment of leave time, including sick, vacation, personal, and professional development leave; and district payment of health, dental, and/or vision (86% self, 76% family) coverage.
