Description:
  District 27 is looking for motivated, energetic, and student-centered educators to work with students with IEPs in a classroom setting.  There are currently needs at both Shabonee School (grades 3-5) and Wood Oaks Junior High (grades 6-8). There are also multiple opportunities available to earn extra money through supervision before, during, and after school. Bachelor's Degree or greater is required, but a teaching or substitute license is preferred. Northbrook School District 27 is a professional learning community made up of approximately 1300 students across three schools educating students to succeed in a changing world.

  District 27 is searching for enthusiastic, child-centered educators to serve as substitute teachers at all three buildings. A qualified substitute can choose to work at the K-2(Hickory Point), 3-5(Shabonee), 6-8(Wood Oaks) building or choose to work at any of the three depending on need. An Illinois Substitute Teaching License is required, while an Illinois Teaching License is preferred. If you do not have a license, but do have a bachelor's degree, we will help you obtain your licensure. The District 27 Board of Education recently approved a raise in the daily rate of pay for substitute teachers to $150 per day.
