Long-term Substitute Behavior Specialist is needed from August through mid-October 2026!
PURPOSE: The Behavior Specialist is a federal grant funded position through both Title 1 and IDEA funds. The Behavior Specialist will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and directly support students exhibiting challenging behaviors. The Behavior Specialist will have expertise in behavioral analysis, special education, or psychology, preferably holding a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification, LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist), or a relevant psychology degree.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Master's degree preferred in School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, School Social Work, or a related field.2. Preferred certifications: BCBA, LBS1, or Licensed/Certified Psychologist-Social Worker.3. Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting.4.
