TASK FORCE MAINTENANCE HELPER (Substitute Positions)
DESCRIPTION: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill substitute task force maintenance positions. Substitutes are on an ‘on-call' basis, as needed, for building custodial/maintenance work in various schools in Romeoville and Bolingbrook.JOB SUMMARY: A task force maintenance helper may be assigned to any school in the district; to the Maintenance Department to be of assistance in whatever project is being undertaken; to the Grounds Department to be of assistance in whatever project is undertaken; or any of the district locations for varied types of assignments. SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill a Transportation School Bus Driver position effective immediately.JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Transportation and dispatchers, this individual is responsible for safely transporting student s to and from school following assigned routes and schedules. Drivers may also sign for field trips, extra-curricular activity runs, etc. normally within a 50 miles radius of Valley View District boundary, but occasionally to more distant locations.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Transportation Director for Special Services, this individual is responsible for the safety of students on the school bus during the assigned routes. Bus Monitors, when needed, will assist with field trips, extra curricular activity runs, etc. normally within a 50 miles radius of Valley View District boundary, but occasionally to more distant locations.
