Primary responsibilities include: Identify opportunities and implement strategic marketing programs; content development and management of district websites and social media, write for a variety of publications including print, website, intranet and social media; assist with overall department communications to both internal and external audiences; enhance relationships with business; civic and community organizations; implement training for staff; coordinate multiple projects. EASTERN CARVER COUNTY SCHOOLS ON-CALL SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS 2019-2020
Eligibility: Candidates interested in becoming a substitute teacher for Eastern Carver County Schools must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education. The district will accept a short call substitute license, see details below. The substitue teacher rate of pay is $125 per full day and $62.50 per half day. If you retired from ECCS the rate is $130 per full day and $65.00 per half day. The district's substitutes access assignments 24/7 via Absence Management (AESOP). You can choose which schools you’ll accept jobs from, what times you would like to be called, what days you are not available to work and more! A background check will be conducted. Short Call Substitute Licenses: Eastern Carver County Schools will accept two-year short call substitute licenses for the 2019-20 school year. You can apply for this licensure through the Minnesota Department of Education if you have a Bachelor’s degree. We do require a one day training for all hired substitute teachers who hold a short call substitute license. These trainings are held 2-3 times during the school year based on demand. Please complete an online application. AFTER your application has been screened and accepted you will receive an email listing next steps. The district requires those with a short call substitue license to attend a separate training. This also applies to individuals holding 2-year licenses that are subbing in other districts. Training will be paid at $125 per day upon completion of five full days of substituting in Eastern Carver County Schools. The first training for 19-20 is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th.
