Position Summary:
An Office Assistant, Classification D, serves as the primary coordinator for all substitute staffing and staff time-off requests, ensuring every classroom is covered and daily logistics run smoothly. Working closely with one of the assistant principals, this position maintains emergency response protocols and acts as a central communication hub during drills or active crises to ensure school safety. This position is responsible for the logistical execution of major school milestones, specifically leading the planning, vendor coordination, and student records for Graduation ceremonies. To ensure a cohesive environment, this position provides high-level administrative support and completes additional duties as assigned to keep the school's daily operations organized and efficient.

Speech-Language Pathologist (Long-term Substitute)
Location: Valley View Middle School | Status: Exempt | Duration: August 24, 2026 through October 14, 2026
A Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of communication anomalies – specifically, speech, language, and hearing problems. The goal is to normalize the communication processes within the limits of the child's capacity.
Salary Range: The wage for this position is $287.64 per day. This is a temporary position.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Support Services, to assist students, teachers and parents in enabling students to derive the fullest potential educational experience from school by promoting positive self-esteem and resilience, and providing suggested methods and plans for overcoming psychological or mental health problems.

Educational Associate - excitED! Summer Targeted Services

Position Summary: We are currently recruiting paraprofessionals for our summer 2026 targeted services program, excitED! Following MN Department of Education best practices, this invitation-only program is designed to help students discover their possibilities and thrive using a blend of social emotional learning, targeted instruction in reading and math, and hands-on, project-based learning. Together, we'll create a welcoming learning community that will help students develop foundations for lasting academic and personal success.

School Bus Driver
Location: Transportation Center | Status: Non-Exempt | Schedule: Full-time, part-time and casual positions available (up to 8 hours/day M-F), 170 day, School Term
The Edina Public Schools Transportation Center is a state of the art facility. The 62,000 square foot facility hosts 22 bus bays which, unlike many neighboring districts, allows the district to store all buses throughout the winter months. It also boasts a conference room, ample room for mechanical work, employee break room, and additional front office space.
A school bus driver supports the school district by providing transportation to our students. Ensures students arrive safely to and from school every day.
Salary Range: The wage for this position ranges from $26.64 to $27.76 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $26.64 per hour.
