Job Title: Kids World Program Staff
Location: Lincoln or Jefferson Elementary School
Description: Faribault Public Schools is seeking several Program Staff to work with children in 1st - 5th grade, for our Before and After School Child Care Program. The position is Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to work during program hours before school from 6:15am-8:00am and/or after school from 2:45pm-5:30pm. Shifts will be a set schedule and may range from 1 hour up to 3.75 hours per day. This position requires working on non-school days.
Pay range: $15.45/hr - $17.63/hr depending on experience. Additional bonus stipend for hours working directly with children may be issued quarterly as long as grant funds are available through MN DHS Great Start Compensation Support Program.
Essential Functions: Supervising a large group of students; preparing and leading activities for school-age children in a classroom setting; keeping accurate attendance; working collaboratively with other staff; having good relationships with families; and maintaining a fun, positive, clean, and safe environment for the children. Daily contact with parents. Other duties as assigned. This position will begin August 27, 2025, and commence on June 4, 2026.

Essential Functions: Supervising a large group of students; preparing and leading activities for school-age children in a classroom setting; assisting with toileting needs; keeping accurate attendance; working collaboratively with other staff; having good relationships with families; and maintaining a fun, positive, clean, and safe environment for the children. Daily contact with parents. Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is a must for this position. This position will begin approximately August 27, 2025.
Qualifications: Experience working with and leading activities for preschool-age and/or school-age children. Experience in special education is preferred. Able to communicate effectively with other program staff, program managers, coordinator, parents, and children. Must be at least 16 years of age. Prefer some postsecondary education in the fields of Education, Early Childhood or other related fields and/or hours worked within a school or childcare setting. First Aid and CPR certification required (willing to train if needed). District Paraprofessionals, High School Students, and College Students are encouraged to apply. Possible summer employment to those that are interested.

Job Description: Bilingual (Spanish or Somali) Interpreters needed for various school-related events. These interpreters will be used on an “on-call” basis. Job Title: Preschool Paraprofessional - Roosevelt Early Learning Center
Job Description: The preferred candidate will assist the early childhood teacher in supporting the students in the classroom at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. A paraprofessional will help prepare and set up materials for the day (art, sensory table, dramatic play, etc.), facilitate small-group lessons as directed by the teacher, and support preschoolers through transitions and play. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Rate of pay is $20.13 per hour.
Qualifications: AA degree preferred. Experience working with children ages 3-5 and knowledge of child development preferred.
