Job Title: After School Program Assistant Grades K-12
Job Description: This position will assist Teachers and Club Leads with the supervision, organization and leading of enrichment activities for students in grades K-12 during after school programming, and other duties as assigned.
This position will be available at all Falcons Beyond locations. Hours are 2:30-5:30 with flexibility to work 1-5 days per week throughout the 2025-26 school year. Programming will begin September 4th, 2025.
There will be additional paid opportunities for bus supervision, helping with family engagement events, full day and weekend programming.
Qualifications: One or more years of experience working with youth in an enrichment, after school program, school age care, or other related area preferred. Youth development training and experience preferred. Preferred qualifications – Enrolled in, graduated from or on track for a postsecondary degree program.
Pay rate according to the Community Education Bargaining Agreement.
Job Title: After School Program Teacher Grades K-12
Job Description: Create and lead enrichment activities for elementary, middle or high school students according to 21st Century Community Learning Center goals and objectives. Curriculum will be theme-based and incorporate experiential learning opportunities. After School Program Teachers are expected to incorporate student voice into their high quality programming, while bringing unique interests and talents to each club. Hours are approximately 3:30-4:30. Flexibility exists to work 1-5 days/hours per week throughout the 2025-26 school year. Programming will begin September 4, 2025. Opportunities for job sharing and flexible start dates are available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities
Create a positive educational climate for students to learn
Participate in ongoing training sessions
Create lesson plans
Utilize various curriculum resources
Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served
Work with Program Managers and Coordinator to ensure initiatives are being met
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
Prepare and distribute required reports
Observe and evaluate students’ performance with Continual Learning Plans
Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures
Participate in meetings as needed
Qualifications: Experience with leading programming, team building, staff collaboration, and effective communication. Experience working with children in an out-of-school-time environment preferred. Experience with students grades K-12.
Licensure necessary for position: MN Teacher licensure preferred.

Job Title: After School Program Site Assistant
General Definition of Work
The Community School Site Assistant will specialize in assisting the Community School Coordinator to enhance youth and family academic and enrichment programs. The Community School Site Assistant will represent FPS in a positive manner and support the design of cross-functional strategies in the areas of Student-Centered Learning and Family Engagement. Work is performed under the supervision of the Community School Coordinators.

Description: Faribault Public Schools is seeking several Program Staff to work with children in 1st - 5th grade, for our Before and After School Child Care Program. The position is Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to work during program hours before school from 6:15am-8:00am and/or after school from 2:45pm-5:30pm. Shifts will be a set schedule and may range from 1 hour up to 3.75 hours per day. This position requires working on non-school days.
Pay range: $15.45/hr - $17.63/hr depending on experience. Additional bonus stipend for hours working directly with children may be issued quarterly as long as grant funds are available through MN DHS Great Start Compensation Support Program.

Job Title: Preschool Paraprofessional - Roosevelt Early Learning Center
Job Description: The preferred candidate will assist the early childhood teacher in supporting the students in the classroom at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. A paraprofessional will help prepare and set up materials for the day (art, sensory table, dramatic play, etc.), facilitate small-group lessons as directed by the teacher, and support preschoolers through transitions and play. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Rate of pay is $20.13 per hour.
