JOB TITLE: Transportation/Safety Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer

OVERVIEW:
The Transportation & Safety Coordinator is a part-time network-level operations role responsible for supporting the effective, safe, and continuously improving transportation and school safety systems of i3 Academy.
The Coordinator serves as the primary day-to-day liaison among i3 Academy schools, families, transportation providers, and other transportation partners. The position oversees transportation coordination across all three campuses, including regular bus routes, route improvement, student transportation concerns, field trips, athletic transportation, transportation compliance, and coordination of bus discipline.
The Coordinator also supports i3 Academy's school safety program and serves as a key partner to the Chief Operations Officer in implementing safety plans, conducting safety walkthroughs, coordinating required drills, maintaining documentation, and implementing state and network safety initiatives.
This position is intended to provide consistent operational leadership and hands-on coordination in two critical areas of school operations. The Transportation & Safety Coordinator will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer to strengthen systems, improve communication and customer service, identify operational challenges, and implement solutions across all three i3 Academy campuses.

The coach will oversee all aspects of the team's development, safety, and performance while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

Position Overview: The Head Middle School Cheerleading Coach at i3 Academy is responsible for leading and managing the athletic program in accordance with the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) and National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) guidelines. The coach will oversee all aspects of the team's development, safety, and performance while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
Clear a background check and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
Complete all coaching requirements as mandated by AHSAA and NFHS.
Fundraise and manage budgetary allocations for the team's needs.
Develop athletes through skill instruction, conditioning, and character development.
Ensure compliance with AHSAA rules, i3 Academy academic policies, and school regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, colleagues, and the broader community.
Mentor and support students in achieving and maintaining high academic standards.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and practice schedules.
Schedule games, tournaments, and coordinate logistical arrangements.
Evaluate player performance and provide equitable treatment to each athlete.
Attend professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and strategies.
Demonstrate sportsmanship and integrity in interactions on and off the playing area.
Collaborate closely with school administration and other staff members.
Serve as a positive role model and uphold ethical standards at all times.
Stay informed of current trends, strategies, and best practices in the sport.
Ensure athletes are medically cleared and adhere to AHSAA eligibility guidelines.
Utilize technology platforms like Dragonfly for administrative and reporting purposes.
Maintain sports facilities by setting up, cleaning, and securing the playing area.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous coaching experience is strongly desired.
Strong understanding of sport fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
Proven ability to teach and develop young athletes, emphasizing personal growth, teamwork, and leadership.
Commitment to student-athlete development, including academic success and emotional well-being.
Ability to lead and inspire student-athletes towards achieving team goals.

Position Title: Substitute School NurseReports To: Lead Nurse
The i3 Academy Substitute School School Nurse has the following basic functions:
1. Able to function independently in the absence of the school nurse assigned to the building.
2. Provides health services to strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning in the individual students.
3. Promote an optimal level of wellness of students and staff by providing preventive health services to facilitate the students and staff's optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development.
4.Identify problems and disabilities and provide such services as, health education, referring, and care in order to help prevent serious health problems and manage current chronic conditions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: As a nurse substitute, you will be expected to fulfill the responsibilities of the building's school nurse as assigned. The usual responsibilities are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list and other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
1. Promotes and protects the optimal health status of school-age children
2. Provides health assessments
3. Obtains a health history
4. Provides daily medications and treatments according to prescriber's orders
