ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work in collaboration with the high school volleyball coach(es)
Coordinate and oversee the selection of uniforms, practice sessions, workshops, and other activities which the athletic director deems necessary for the program.
Implement and maintain team rules/guidelines for consistent compliance of discipline.
Conduct and supervise all practices
Ongoing and regular communication with student athletes and parents regarding the program vision, philosophy, schedule, and all important program information.
Supervise student athletes before, during, and after practices and games
Partner with the athletic director and varsity coach(es) to provide an excellent and meaningful student athlete experience.
Provides instruction to students in the rules, regulations, equipment and techniques of the sport
Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities/exercises
Assess students' skills, monitors students during competition and practice

Primary Purpose
Under the general supervision of the school principal, the TOSA Math Intervention Specialist will work closely with campus and district leadership teams, as well as the TOSA for Reading Intervention, to assess students, track data, support Professional Learning Community (PLC) work, serve as a member of the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams, serve as a member of the district MTSS team, and provide Tier 3 intervention support for math. The purpose is to achieve the goals, objectives, and strategies of the district’s strategic plan by improving student achievement in mathematics through targeted intervention, data analysis, and instructional support.
Essential Functions
Student Assessment: Conducts assessments to identify students' mathematical strengths and areas of need. Utilizes assessment data to inform instruction and intervention strategies.
Data Tracking: Tracks and analyzes student data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintains accurate records of student performance and intervention outcomes.
PLC Support: Collaborates with PLCs to develop and implement effective math instruction and intervention strategies. Provides support and resources to teachers to enhance math instruction.
MTSS Team Membership: Serves as a member of the Tier 2 and Tier 3 MTSS teams, contributing to the development and implementation of intervention plans for students requiring additional support. Participates in district MTSS team meetings to align school-level practices with district goals.
Tier 3 Intervention: Provides direct Tier 3 intervention support for students struggling with math. Designs and delivers individualized or small group instruction to address specific learning needs.
Collaboration: Works closely with the TOSA for Reading Intervention and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. Engages in regular communication with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
Professional Development: Participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in math intervention and instruction. Shares knowledge and strategies with colleagues to build capacity within the school.
Instructional Support: Assists teachers in implementing effective math instructional practices. Provides coaching and modeling to enhance teachers' instructional skills.
Resource Management: Identifies and utilizes appropriate resources, materials, and technology to support math intervention and instruction. Ensures that intervention materials are well-organized and accessible.
Program Evaluation: Evaluates the effectiveness of math intervention programs and makes recommendations for improvement. Uses data to inform decision-making and program adjustments.
State and Federal Compliance: Works to support state and federal requirements for programs including but not limited to Learning Assistance Program (LAP), Title I, MTSS and Washington Integrated Student Supports Protocol (WISSP). Ensures that math intervention strategies and programs align with these requirements and effectively address the needs of students.

Position Summary:
Kalama School District is seeking a Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee and lead all aspects of the district’s Child Nutrition Program. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals to students while maintaining full compliance with USDA, OSPI, and Washington State regulations. This leadership role includes menu planning, budgeting, staff supervision, procurement, and promoting student wellness and community engagement in food service initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer the district’s Child Nutrition Programs, including NSLP, SBP, and SFSP, in accordance with USDA and Washington OSPI regulations.
Create appealing and nutritionally balanced menus that reflect student preferences, cultural diversity, and current dietary guidelines.
