Compensation:
 
• Hourly rate of  $15.00 per hour
 
 
Hours:
 
• 8-hour shifts (AM and PM)
• Up to 800 hours per school year

Main Duties:
• Cleaning of classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, gyms, bathrooms, offices and other rooms within a school or office site, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
• Set ups and take downs which may include moving furniture, chairs, tables and other large items
• Trash removal
• Other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor

 Requirements: 
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites
• Ability to accept work on short notice
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to be standing/walking for 4 to 8 hours
• Ability to push/pull garbage containers and janitorial equipment (vacuums, carts, garbage cans, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to relate/work with school staff
• Excellent work ethics  

Qualifications:  
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
