We greatly appreciate your interest in working with our dedicated learning community of professionals striving for excellence every day to create the best learning experiences for our students.
Lowndes County Schools’ online application experience, provided by Applicant Tracking, is designed to be simple and intuitive with user-friendly tools to browse and apply for available vacant positions. You also have the ability to apply for multiple vacancies with only one application. This feature is designed to launch the applicable pages and questions of the application relevant to the type of vacancy selected (certified or classified) therefore you may be asked the same or similar questions more than once while completing the application. Please note this is not an error.
In order to complete and submit an application, a valid email address is required. It is also used to communicate with prospective candidates to be interviewed. Open positions are regularly posted to this site throughout the year. We encourage you to visit frequently for the most recent position openings.
We invite you to complete and submit a pre-employment profile if vacancies are not available on our website. The benefit of establishing a pre-employment profile allows the ability to access your profile at any time to make changes if needed. Applications are retained in active status for one school year. Please understand that submission of a pre-employment application does not necessarily mean that a vacancy exists. Additionally, applying for vacancies is only a matter of simply logging in to access your profile, selecting a specific position, make updates if needed, and submit...that’s it!
To get started, choose the appropriate application you will need to complete. Below are brief descriptions to assist you in choosing which is relevant:
