Thank you for your interest in working with the certified and classified professionals of Lowndes County Schools. We encourage you to learn more about the school district at

A Word About Applicant Tracking
Thank you for using the online Applicant Tracking application system. Applicant Tracking, formerly Applitrack, is an applicant management system that the school district began using on July 11, 2016. Applicant Tracking is used by over 7,500 school districts in the United States, and you may have encountered it during your employment search. We plan to further enhance the applicant process as the school district utilizes the features of Applicant Tracking. Hopefully, you will not have any problem submitting your application, but if you do, please use the Applicant Tracking Technical Assistance prompt or contact our Human Resources Department.

Applicant Tracking provides applicants with a user-friendly tool to browse vacancies and to apply for vacant positions. Applicant Tracking will allow you to apply for multiple vacancies with only one application. In order to do so, Applicant Tracking may ask the same or similar questions more than one time because certain questions associated with certified vacancies are also related to classified vacancies. Please know that this is not an error. For example, this will occur if you apply for a certified vacancy (teacher) and a classified vacancy (paraprofessional) on the same application.
To establish a complete pre-employment file, please complete the online application. Your application will be retained in active status for one school year. If your qualifications meet the district's programmatic needs, you may be contacted for further information and a possible interview. When completing your application, please remember that you must apply for the specific vacancy to be considered for a particular position and not just a general category.  As an added feature, if you have completed an Applicant Tracking application with another school district, you may be able to import some of the information from your other application.

What makes Applicant Tracking different?

Experience and Market Share
Lowndes County Schools wants the very best on-line application system available to public schools, and after completion of an extensive search, Applicant Tracking was selected.  Applicant Tracking uses the latest technology to assist applicants in employment searches. Lowndes County Schools is one of over 7,500 educational systems that utilize Applicant Tracking. This represents 20 percent of all educational institutions in the United States. We believe, as do many other school districts, that our commitment to providing the best possible service to applicants has been enhanced through the use of Applicant Tracking in securing highly-qualified and talented individuals.
Single Login
While Applicant Tracking has different modules, it is one unified system - and it feels that way. Instead of repeatedly logging in and out of Applicant Tracking, you can seamlessly move throughout the system with one simple login. You get instant access to all of your applicant data, all in one simple, easy-to-use interface.
Support Applicants and Employees
Applicant Tracking provides direct support for applicants.
K12JobSpot and TeachGeorgia
The number one educational job board in the United States, K12JobSpot, is already integrated with Applicant Tracking. When vacancies are posted on Applicant Tracking, they are also posted on K12JobSpot ensuring national exposure.  Additionally, the district uses the official state recruitment website, TeachGeorgia, to notify applicants when job vacancies are announced and to direct applicants to Applicant Tracking to complete their employment applications.
Easy to Apply
Applicant Tracking works hard to remove barriers to applying at your district. Instead of a cumbersome registration process, Applicant Tracking collects information as candidates fill out the application and even carries it over to additional applications. Plus, Applicant Tracking automatically queues up the right questions, depending on the job applied for! It doesn’t get any easier.
Easy to Use
Applicant Tracking was designed to be clean, simple and intuitive - making it fast to find the information you need and move on with your work. We know you’re often working on the go so Applicant Tracking is mobile-friendly and works great on iPads and other tablets.

There are certain responses that are required. Most of these are indicated by asterisks (*). Applicant Tracking will not allow you to submit your application until all fields have responses. If the question is not applicable to the position(s) that you are applying for, simply enter "NA" to complete the field. The system will not automatically enter NA.

If you have not completed all required responses, you will receive the following Applicant Tracking notice at the time you attempt to confirm your application responses: "Your Application is not yet submitted. There are omissions that prevent submission of your application. You must correct the following errors before you can submit your application."

The district will not consider incomplete applications when filling vacancies.

Full-time employees of the school district are NOT required to complete a new on-line employment application. Current full-time employees only need to complete the Internal Applicant form at the bottom of the Welcome page.

Internal Applications are for use only by full-time employees (not by substitutes).
External Applications are for use by individuals who are not currently employed, not employed in a full-time capacity, and by all substitutes.

Again, thank you for your interest in working with Lowndes County Schools.
