C.O.O.R. (Crawford, Oscoda, Ogema, Roscommon) serves six local public school districts; Crawford-AuSable Schools

, Fairview Area Schools
, Houghton Lake Community Schools
, Roscommon Area Public Schools
and West Branch-Rose City Schools
; and two Public School Academies, the Charlton Heston Academy
and the Alternative Educational Academy of Ogemaw County. This four-county area comprises the second-largest region serviced by any ISD in the state (square miles) and the local districts enroll 7,544 students.
