PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Experience:

Instructional Management
1. Provides input in the coordination and evaluation of the school's instructional program.
2. Works with staff to plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum on a systematic basis.
3. Provides instructional resources and materials to support teaching staff in accomplishing instructional goals.
4. Evaluates and recommends improvement in the purpose, design, and implementation of the instructional program as well as other support programs related to the mission of the school.
5. Assists in the development of the master schedule of teaching assignments and course offerings.

1. Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, in pursuing the mission of the school.
2. Schedules and monitors activities and resources.
3. Assists in developing budgets based on documented program needs, estimated enrollment, personnel, and other fiscal needs.
4. Assists in the purchase, and monitors the use, care, and replacement of materials and capital equipment.
5. Manages all school facilities and supervises their maintenance to ensure clean, orderly, and safe buildings and grounds.
Student Management
1. Works with school staff and utilizes student input in developing a behavior management system that results in positive student behavior.
2. Develops and communicates to students, staff, and parents, school guidelines for student conduct.
3. Ensures that school rules are uniformly observed and that consequences of misconduct are applied equitably to all students.
4. Conducts conferences with parents, students, and staff concerning both the positive aspects of student behavior as well as problem areas.
5. Supervises student activities as assigned by the principal.
6. Maintains accurate individual student disciplinary records.
7. Ensures Restorative Discipline is implemented and conflict resolution is addressed for assigned students.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred
2. HVAC Technical school certification or Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration license required
3. Refrigeration recovery certification (preferred)
4. Water-Cooled/Air-Cooled Chillers Certificate (preferred)
5. Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable
Special Knowledge/Skills:

1. Leads a crew in the completion of assigned work orders.
2. Assists in the operation and maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment in the district.
3. Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems, including rooftop equipment.
4. Installs, relocates, and/or expands new heating and air conditioning systems, HVAC systems and components as needed.
5. Repairs, replaces, or calibrates controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
6. Fabricates, assembles, and installs duct work and piping according to specifications and code.
7. Wires and connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, and humidity controls according to wiring schematics.
8. Maintains Freon dispensing records to meet federal requirements.
9. Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC tools and equipment, including changing of filters and cleaning condensers and coils.
10. Performs duct cleaning and air quality testing as needed.
11. Selects material and hardware and makes time and materials estimates.
12. Maintains accurate records on material and labor used.
13. Inspects jobs upon completion and ensures areas are clean.
14. Works with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.
15. Detects needed repairs on equipment following established inspection procedures.
16. Responds to emergency calls as needed.
17. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.; ensures that equipment is in safe operating condition and operates tolls and equipment accordingly
18. Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and reports any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
19. Performs thermostatic adjustments and troubles shoot problems utilizing HVAC computerized software.
20. Ensures vehicles, equipment, and tool boxes are locked and secure at all times while vehicle is left unattended.
21. Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.

8. Detects and resolves environmental risks to athletes.
Rehabilitation/Reconditioning
1. Plans and implements a comprehensive rehabilitation and reconditioning program for injuries and illnesses sustained by Junior High School student athletes.
2. Determines therapeutic goals and objectives for individual Junior High School athletes.
3. Applies therapeutic modalities and instructs athletes on proper use of exercise equipment.
4. Evaluates and records rehabilitation progress of athletes.  Develops criteria for progression and return to competition.
5. Follows professional, ethical, and legal parameter regarding use of over-the-counter medications (OTCs) and therapeutic agents for treatment and rehabilitation of injured athletes.
6. Holds basic rehabilitation and treatments for the Junior Highs on a rotational basis.
Administration
1. Coordinates scheduling of athletic physical examinations and screenings.
2. Compiles, maintains, and files all reports, records, and other documents including medical, accident, and treatment records as required for all Junior High School athletes.  Uses Rank One for physicals and schedules.
3. Maintains inventory of training supplies and equipment.  Requests additional supplies as needed for each Junior High School.
4. Assists Junior High School Coaches with beginning of the year insurance paperwork, and makes sure they are aware of the protocol if an injury occurs, as well as district purchased insurance policies.
5. Maintains daily operation of assigned training room.
6. Sets up rotational schedule between the 2 Junior Highs assigned so all Junior High coaches, High School Athletic Trainers, and Athletic Director will be able to contact the Junior High Athletic Trainer.
7. Assists the High School athletic trainers if no Jr. High events are scheduled in the following situations:  UIL District tournaments and matches in which assistance is needed, Spring Ball and Two a days, Holidays and Play-offs, Family emergencies and sickness should occur, Elementary tournaments, Track meets, etc.
8. Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assist with the maintenance of a safe and orderly school environment for students and staff; protect and secure all property, equipment, buildings, etc., located at the school campus.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
1. High school diploma or GED certificate
2. Texas Commission on Private Security (TCPS) Level Two Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
1. Demonstrate competence and willingness to perform assigned duties
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Patrols and supervises hallways, restrooms, entrance ways, parking lots, driveways, and other areas of the school.
2. Reports rule violations and offenders to Director for Maintenance and Security, school administrators, and SRO officer.
3. Monitors campus pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
4. Works with MPD/MCISD/SRO Police Officers to keep the building clear of people not on official school business.
5. Inspects all doors, windows, parked cars, or any suspicious conditions.
6. Stops disturbances and undue distractions on school grounds.
7. Assists law enforcement officers and completes affidavits as necessary.
8. Participates in training, orientation, and maintains, at own expense Level Two Certification (TCPS).
9. Confers with MPD/MCISD Police Officers on matters of concern, and notifies authorities of any situation requiring attention.
10. Prepares written reports of incidents; keeps current on school laws and policies which affect students and staff.
11. Works cooperatively with other security officers, SRO officers, and campus staff to promote a safe school environment.
12. Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned by Director for Maintenance and Security.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
1. Master's Degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university
2. Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and/or the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA)
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA CCC), preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:       
1. Ability to use the accepted tests and measurements to assess speech impairments
2. Knowledge of speech evaluation and therapy procedures
3. Strong consultation skills with an emphasis on effective communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
ASSESSMENT (Not applicable for Licensed Assistants)
1. Conducts evaluations to assess students with speech or language impairments to determine eligibility. (Licensed Assistants can administer routine tests).
2. Develops strategies or procedures and diagnostic statements by interpreting observations or data.
3. Assists in conducting evaluations for assistive technology.
4. Participates in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist in interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and goal setting for students with speech impairments or conditions.
THERAPY
1. Plans and provides appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in the Individual Education Plans (IEP).
2. Evaluates student progress and determines readiness for termination of therapy services.
3. Maintains appropriate documentation concerning lesson plans and logs.
CONSULTATION
1. Counsels and involves parents in the remedial process.
2. Collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and implement classroom activities to improve speech and language skills of students.
3. Participates in the student's multidisciplinary committee in order to plan for his/her appropriate educational program.
4. Provides professional development in assigned schools to help school personnel identify and understand speech impairments in students.
5. Communicates effectively with colleagues, students, and parents regarding the accomplishment of therapy goals and needs of the student.
STUDENT MANAGEMENT
1. Creates an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the maturity level and interests of students.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Primary duties include maintaining the integrity, reliability, and security of computers and network infrastructure.  Respond to help-desk requests, calls, and emails from campus staff. Under general supervision, identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by campus users. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers inclusive of telecommunication, audiovisual and peripheral equipment, CATV
systems, wireless, network cabling, switches, and other computer technology. Provides
technical expertise to end-users regarding optimal set-up for software, hardware, and network use. Team player oriented: must be able to interact with peers, management, and staff in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
1. High school diploma
2. N Plus Certification
3. A Plus Certification
4. Associates degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
1. Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications
2. Ability to analyze and resolve computer hardware and software problems
3. Some knowledge of technologies available for use in the instructional setting
4. Ability to repair computer and technology equipment after consultation with a technology advisor and/or district technology personnel
5. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for the work to be performed with computer-related problems
7. Willing to attend training in computer technology repairs
Experience:
1. Two years of experience with Microsoft Windows, Office Suites, Google G-Suite
2. Two years experience in computer repair and peripheral installation
3. Experience with basic network troubleshooting and wireless setup
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Provide technical assistance to campus faculty and staff for use of equipment including computer hardware and instructional-related software.
2. Provide immediate on-site assistance for technology problems and questions for campus staff.
3. Act as liaison between staff and campus technology advisor, assistant principal, and principal.
4. Assist in the maintenance of computers in classrooms to provide or arrange for needed repairs.
5. Manage student accounts for all instructional programs.  (e.g. Active Directory)
6. Assist campus staff with the student information system. (e.g. Grade verification reports, report cards, etc.)
7. Assist with the setup of audio and visual equipment need to facilitate meetings, assemblies, instruction, etc.
8. Perform upgrades to software and hardware.
9. Run Network drops and repair network cables as necessary.
10. Setup and deploy new computers, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, iPads, printers, and any other required peripheral devices.
11. Installs computer equipment, network (client and server) software and hardware on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating software, hardware upgrades, etc.) for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining equipment and software.
12. Uses help desk system to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identifies patterns of failure, researches bug fixes and implements solutions; communicates with supervisor regarding unresolved problems. Monitors assigned campus technicians' work orders and assist if needed.
13. Conducts physical inventory of technology equipment and materials.
14. Run reports for any instructional software program.
15. Prepare and conduct training, materials and provide training sessions on instructional software as needed.
16. Prepare and maintain an updated technology equipment inventory.
17. Safely perform all duties to avoid injury to oneself and/or others.
18. Perform other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Travel hazard to and from school/community sites in a personal vehicle approximately forty (40), percent of the time. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours. May require you to work after hours, on weekends, and/or during your vacation breaks.
