    Job Summary (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): Plans, directs, and monitors academic and enrichment activities for the program.  Provides a safe and developmentally appropriate learning experience for students in grade Pre K – 4, complying with rules, regulations, and policy.  Supervises and evaluates performance of Assistant Supervisors and Assistants.  Complies with rules, regulations, and policy set for by MNPS, TDOE, DCS, and DHS.

    Primary Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesList, in the order of importance or time spent, the essential duties/tasks performed by the position.  This is not an exhaustive list and employees may be assigned additional duties by management as required.  
    Job Duty/Resp. 1: Determines the scope of academic, enrichment, and parent engagement offerings.  Prepares program lesson plans, staff schedules, and parent communication.  Markets program to families and community and facilitates school based enrollment.
    Job Duty/Resp. 2: Evaluates Assistant Supervisors and Assistants in conjunction with rules, regulations, and policy.
    Job Duty/Resp. 3: Develops and implements engaging instruction and enrichment opportunities for students and families.
    Job Duty/Resp. 4: Maintains accurate documentation, including but not limited to, attendance, emergency contact, incident reports, and accounting reports.  Gathers and reports data upon request.
    Job Duty/Resp. 5:  Attends and participates in staff meetings, planning, and trainings sessions.   Provides on the job training for assistant supervisors and assistants.
    Job Duty/Resp. 6:  Initiates positive working relationships through regular contact with direct report, Principal, and families.
    Job Duty/Resp. 7: Implements safety and emergency procedures in conjunction with policy and procedures.  Implements evacuation and other safety drills with students and staff on a regular basis. 
    Job Duty/Resp. 8:  Develops positive relationships with Extended Learning leadership team, school staff, community partners, students, and families.

    Education and Experience Requirements  
    Education (training/degree): Required minimum: Associates Degree Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
    Experience Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years applicable experience.
    Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required: Valid driver’s license
    Skills Required: Proficient in Microsoft Suite.  Experience in early childhood development.  Background knowledge in Federal and State grants preferred.  Knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulation of and District policies and procedures preferred.

    Text Box: Kronos Set Up Data:  Meal Deduction  Most Bransford office and district level employee have a meal deduction.  They are scheduled 8.5 hours per day and get an hour lunch. Itinerants and retirees get a 30 minute lunch period and therefore do not have a meal deduction.
