Who can participate?

Any organization that belongs to one of the eight MSC service cooperatives may participate in the employment network.

How do I get started?

Contact your service cooperative, or signup online.
You may also contact Jane Eastes or Kelsey Felstul at the Minnesota Service Cooperatives at 888-739-3289.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is based on full-time student or employee counts, and if you are participating in a consortium of employers or as a standalone. Pricing specific to your organization can be calculated using the signup form. A fully-functional, one month trial of the AppliTrack system is available to you for free (just complete The online signup form).

What if I am not a member of any MSC service cooperative?

You must be a member of a Minnesota regional service cooperative to participate in this special agreement. You can find out about all of the Minnesota regional service cooperatives, as well as contact and membership information, at the website www.mnservcoop.org.

What are the benefits?

Participating employers benefit in three primary ways:
  1. Your jobs are posted online for job seekers in your region and across Minnesota. The cost of advertising a single job posting to print and other media can be hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars. When participating in this agreement, you can post an unlimited number of jobs online to: your organization's website, a regional job board, the statewide Minnesota job board, and the national job board K12JobSpot.com.
  2. All employment applications are tracked online. Applicants can instantly apply to jobs they see posted online. Your organization has immediate access to applicant data online with tools that simplify the selection process such as searching and sorting for candidates with specific MN license types and communicating with multiple applicants simultaneously.
  3. Receive a significant discount on the cost of AppliTrack Through the Cooperative Purchasing Connection from MSC, your organization can save over 90% on the annual rate for the AppliTrack system. This savings and the same fantastic service is available to you through this joint agreement.

How does applicant tracking work?

Applicant tracking is managed by a software system called AppliTrack. AppliTrack is used by over 1000 school districts and municipalities across the country to automate much of the process of accepting, screening, and archiving employment applications. AppliTrack systems have processed over 1 million applications for employment.
