JOB TITLE: Bilingual Polish English Language - Multilingual Teacher
JOB GOAL: Provide instruction to students determined to be English Learners; monitor and ensure students progress.
REPORTS TO: Administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Illinois Bilingual Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements.
Read, write and communicate orally in English and Spanish
Utilize applicable technology to support performance responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General

Specific
- Designs and provides whole group, small group, and/or one to one EL instruction in both inclusion and pullout settings in TPI and TBE models.
- Develop and implement the use of effective instructional strategies based on the needs of student and district outcomes.
- Delivers effective, rigorous supplemental instruction to students who are identified as English Learners
- Assists classroom teachers in differentiating instructional opportunities for EL students, including providing professional development.
- Conducts screenings in accordance with state mandates.
- Organizes and administers annual assessments English Language Learners for identified students.
- Facilitates and monitors English Learners identification process.
- Maintains accurate records related to English Learner identification, support, and assessment in accordance with network, district, and state requirements.
- Organizes and synthesizes data for local and/or state reports, as well as program evaluation.

EVALUATION:
Performance in this position will be evaluated annually, twice annually, or at least every two years in accordance with the provisions of the applicable policies of the district.
