The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction serves as a key member of the Superintendent's leadership team and is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the District's PreK–12 instructional programs.

Maintenance Mechanic I/Night Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Either: A. Completion of one (1) year of vocational education courses in a vocational school program or in an apprentice or training program in one of the craft areas; or
B. One (1) year of experience in minor maintenance or repair work; or
C. A satisfactory equivalent combination of the above education or training and experience as defined by the limits of A and B.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Depending on the nature of the assignment, at the time of appointment and during employment in this title, candidates may be required to possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the vehicle to be operated.
CUSTODIAL MMI NIGHT SUPERVISOR - This position combines hands-on cleaning with the responsibility of overseeing a night-shift crew to ensure buildings are clean, safe and ready for the next day.

Position Summary:The North Babylon School District is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to prepare and deliver an after-school training for parents focused on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) at William Deluca. This training will fulfill the Parent Counseling and Training mandate as outlined in student IEPs.
Responsibilities:• Plan and present a one-hour parent training session on AAC supports and strategies• Provide an overview of AAC systems, tools, and communication approaches• Support families in understanding how to reinforce AAC use at home• Use clear, family-friendly language and practical examples• Collaborate with district staff as needed to align content with IEP mandates• Provide handouts or resources for parents, if applicable
Qualifications:• NYS certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist• Experience working with students who use AAC systems• Experience providing parent education or training preferred• Strong communication and presentation skills
