Robert Moses Middle School is seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring individual to join our team as a Cafeteria Aide. This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students during their lunch periods.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising students during lunch to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
Assisting students as needed during mealtime
Monitoring the cafeteria and surrounding areas for cleanliness and tidiness
Supporting with arrival and dismissal routines in the cafeterias.
Working collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
Qualifications:
Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependability and punctuality are essential
Ability to be on your feet and active throughout the shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM, on school days.

Robert Moses Middle School in the North Babylon Union Free School District is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Permanent Substitute Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will report daily to the building and provide instructional support as needed across various subject areas and grade levels.
Responsibilities include:
Providing coverage for classroom teachers during absences.
Implementing lesson plans left by teachers or delivering prepared instructional materials.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Assisting with supervision duties throughout the school day (hallways, cafeteria, arrival/dismissal, etc.).
Being flexible and ready to work in a variety of classrooms and with different student needs.
Valid New York State Teaching Certification (any content area).
Prior classroom experience preferred.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to different teaching environments quickly and effectively.
A commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all students.
