Primary Function:
Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, the Coordinator for Student Services shall be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects related to student well-being, support, and related and instructional services. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing a range of support services to meet the diverse needs of students within the school district.

Monitors student outcomes and assists teams with problem-solving, placement, and resource allocation decisions for students with complex needs.
Provides coaching and guidance to staff serving students with significant needs to ensure compliance, inclusion, and effective instructional practices.
Family and Parent Engagement
Facilitates meaningful engagement with parents and families through communication, outreach, and advocacy initiatives that strengthen home–school partnerships.
Supports staff and administrators in conducting family meetings, problem-solving sessions, and IEP discussions that center collaboration and transparency.
Coordinates parent learning opportunities, workshops, and informational sessions on student services topics.
Collaborates with community agencies and family organizations to enhance resources and support networks for families.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
The Sponsor of Book Match is responsible for supervising students during Book Match after school from 3:30-4:30 pm. The day the club meets is flexible. Book Match is a district wide program for 4th and 5th graders. The Book Match coach will meet weekly with the interested students during a lunch/ recess or after school time of their choosing. You will be playing games, book talking, and generally encouraging the students to read and retain pertinent story elements and details from 20 pre-selected books. Collaboration with other coaches at other schools is available to help get you up to speed. Up to 5 after school matches will be scheduled between January and March for your students at other 112 schools. This is a friendly competition and students like attending the other schools for the matches. The matches are run and coordinated by the Highland Park Public Library. Expectations include:
Hourly Rate: $38.50-$40/hr. Rate is in accordance with the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement and the NSSSA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Application Procedure:
The Instructional Coach will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning. The Instructional Coach will develop the capacity of individuals and teams to continuously improve and expand research-based effective instruction that will enable staff to diagnose student needs more analytically, plan more productively, and teach more effectively. In order to meet this purpose, the instructional coach will provide support that is based on the collaboratively identified goals and needs of individual teachers and teams of teachers.

Education Requirements:
The employee shall possess the equivalent of a Master’s Degree; completion of a teacher preparation program through an accredited university or college.

The Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant manages the day-to-day processing of invoices, accounts payable checks, and other purchasing-related duties.
Essential Functions:
Assist in managing the financial accounting system, maintaining a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions.
Process purchase orders in a timely manner, working with multiple requisitioners across the District using Skyward.
Coordinate with district secretaries to obtain receiving documentation and to assist in all related duties associated with purchase orders.
Prepare and mail accounts payable checks, electronic, virtual card payments and related transactions, including coordinating release schedule for district bills.
Process invoices received by email or mail.
Complete monthly District purchasing card reconciliation
Manage requests for new P-cards and lost cards, address fraudulent charges, and maintain the P-card list for the District.
Support the Director of Finance & Assistant Superintendent for Finance in all requests for bid/proposal
Conduct regular reviews of accounts payable process to assure accuracy and efficiency, including duplicate/obsolete vendors
Assist in preparing for and cooperating with audits.
Assist in preparing internal financial reports and monthly Bill List for the Board of Education presentation.
Process 1099’s and yearly report.
Maintain postage meter records.
File accounts payable records, working toward fully electronic records.
Perform related duties as directed by the Director of Finance or his/her designee.
Send W9 requests to new vendors. Enter W9’s into the vendor master and maintain W9 file.

The school psychologist plays a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Their key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students, understanding age-appropriate academic and behavioral expectations, and are adept in the development and implementation of intervention plans for students. They will interpret assessment results and effectively communicate findings, as well as participate in the development of appropriate IEPs and 504s. The school psychologist is actively engaged in and/or facilitation of the MTSS process, to include Problem-Solving Meetings.

Substitutes/Guest Teachers play a critical role each day in the education of our students. Whether replacing teachers, paraprofessionals, clerical staff, or nurses, guest teachers provide for continuity in instruction, supervision, organization, and health of our students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report to main office on time, according to the work-day hours published in the Substitute Teacher Handbook, to check in, review plans or directions and prepare for the lessons/protocols of the day.
Familiarize yourself with the building and staff who are available to you throughout the day. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. Seeking assistance will allow you to be more successful in your role.
Uphold all District policies, rules, and procedures to which regular staff members are subject.
Maintain as fully possible the established routines and procedures (including classroom management techniques) for the school and classroom to which assigned.
Teach the lessons outlined in the substitute plans as prepared by the absent teacher. Follow the directions and protocols of the absent staff member.

In addition to the essential functions listed above, guest clerical staff perform all office clerical functions in support of administration and staff, screen and greet visitors and enforce all security and identification requirements. Guest clerical staff keep the principal informed of any relevant information in a timely manner and provides communication support.
Nurse:
In addition to the essential functions listed above, guest nurses manage the health office in the regular nurse's absence by providing first aid for ill and injured children (and staff) and dispensing medication or provide treatment care as directed. Nurses document all student contact in the method the building nurse prefers. Guest nurses also may be called upon to provide coverage in the main office while the secretary has lunch.
