PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Handle and relay messages for the Principal.
2. Perform all clerical duties including processing payroll reports, memos, letters, and purchase orders.
3. Perform all duplicating and distribution of materials including curriculum manuals, booklets, etc.
4. Maintain and keep up-to-date files and correspondence.
5. Process incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly.
6. Coordinate meetings for the principal: reserving space, sending out notices, contacting speakers, ordering audio-visual equipment, etc.
7. Coordinate Book Adoptions:  preparing list and sorting as needed.
8. Support the Principal as needed as it relates to Young Authors, send Book It!, and any other projects/areas relating to curriculum.
9. Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal.
10. Perform duties such as data entry for students, scheduling, attendance, registration, book fees, and reports.
KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL SKILLS:
1. Demonstrated proficiencies with Microsoft Office Tools and office equipment

3.   Budget management/expenditure monitoring
4. Organizational skills

6. Reconcile checking accounts and general ledger accounts monthly for activity funds and send each school a monthly report.
7. Cross-train functions between all admin accounting clerks.
8. Perform filing tasks and telephone responsibilities as needed.
9. Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Budgets and Compliance or Controller and CFO.
10. Specific school location work may be required as scheduled.
11. Prepare utility report monthly and send to CFO and the Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds.
12. File all accident reports and keep for two years.

POSITION GOAL:   Interpret for hearing impaired students that have mainstreamed into regular classes
 
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Interpret the spoken message to the hearing impaired student at his/her level of language comprehension via sign language and finger spelling or translate VERBATIM via signing and finger spelling.
2. Reverse interpret (voice) messages signed by the hearing impaired student.
3. Assist in communication between the regular classroom teacher and special education personnel.
4. Complete student monitoring sheets as requested.
5. Attend meetings and participate in in-service education programs for full time employees.
6. Participate in workshops for the hearing impaired students and/or school personnel regarding the role of the interpreter as needed.
7. Participate in parent conferences and staffings as requested.
8. Understand and follow program guidelines for educational interpreters.
