FINANCIAL COMPTROLLER
DEFINITION
This position supports the effective and efficient delivery of financial services across all district departments including the administration of and compliance with all related district policies and state and federal laws, as well as short and long range financial planning. This role reports directly to the CFO and supervises the accounts payable and finance positions.
The comptroller will be responsible for establishing processes, planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the District’s finance functions. The Roaring Fork School District is accepting applications for licensed substitute teachers (called Guest Teachers). Under direction of a principal or assistant principal, Paraprofessionals assist the classroom teacher, special education teacher, or provider with the supervision and instruction of students according to the student’s IEP.
Receives direct supervision from the preschool director, principal, or assistant principal.
Receives day to day direction from the classroom teacher, special education teacher or special service provider.
Under teacher direction, provide support in all areas of the classroom; assist with classroom instruction and classroom management.
Assist and support the teacher in carrying out class rules and expectations to maintain a productive learning environment.
Assist in covering the class when the teacher is involved in assisting another student or out of the classroom.

Crisis/Floater AN Paraprofessional job responsibilities include:
1. Be prepared to assist in the case of a crisis at any time.
2. Follow CPI protocols for verbal de-escalation and restraint.
3. Any necessary disciplinary actions will be left to the AN teachers this includes phone calls to parents.
4. All communications regarding students (behaviors/arrival times/departure times, etc) need to go through AN teachers directly.
5. To best serve our students’ needs, all technology, computers and phones, are to be used at the end of the day. Anecdotal notes are to be entered at the end of the day when all AN students have been escorted onto their buses.
6. Escort students to restrooms if necessary.
7. Escort students to specials and lunch if necessary.
8. Provide support for AN students when they are outside at recess.
9. Refer any concerns regarding AN students to the AN classroom teacher.
10. Familiarize self and follow Behavior Continuums for each student.
11. Carry out data collection as requested by AN teacher.
12. Do not enter/exit AN classrooms without clearing it by AN teacher for that classroom. Limit all unnecessary interruptions.

Physical Duties Description
A transportation paraprofessional assists with the physical and medical needs of students aboard their school bus. This may include loading and unloading students in wheelchairs via the hydraulic lift; moving and positioning wheelchairs within the bus; and/or securing the wheelchairs to the bus. It may also include positioning or repositioning students in their school bus seats and properly securing them in their safety restraint systems. Other duties could include assisting students walking up and down the bus stairs, opening and closing bus windows and doors and cleaning the bus. Occasionally the paraprofessional may carry or move student backpacks or other equipment. If the transportation paraprofessional is unable to fulfill these duties, they can simply provide ride-along support and engage the bus driver for further assistance as needed.

Position Title: Bus Driver
Department: Transportation
Reports to: Operations Manager
Regular hours: Part Time and Full Time Positions available
Pay Range: $26.49 to $32.81 per hour (DOE)

Position details: Route driver positions available driving a minibus (non-CDL) and large bus (CDL required), positions are also available transporting students with special needs.
Bus route drivers for the Roaring Fork School District are a vital part of the students day and education. Drivers have the opportunity to set the tone for the students' day and educational experience. Students rely on their driver to get them to school and back home everyday and they often know each other by name, develop strong relationships, and stay in touch well beyond the bus route.
Bus drivers have flexible schedules, with the opportunity for driving time for activity trips throughout the year in addition to their regular routes. Bus drivers are a part of a unique, active and close team; both with the other drivers and with the transportation community throughout the state. Drivers constantly look out for each other regarding road conditions, traffic accidents and student issues to make everyone’s day safer.
Job Description
SUMMARY: This position is a limited duration training position in which the applicant is taught the knowledge and skills necessary to become a district Bus Driver. Upon successful completion of training the applicant has the opportunity to become qualified for and be promoted to a Bus Driver position. After successful completion of the training, applicants will know how to transport, safely and expediently, students to and from home and between schools. Training schedule is dependent upon the applicant's skills, knowledge and application of learned materials and usually requires 40 to 60 hours to complete. If an applicant already possesses a commercial driver’s license the training time will be significantly reduced.

The Roaring Fork School District is hiring a full time school bus driver to drive activity trips and substitute for daily routes during the school year. The person in this position will work 174 days during the school year, however the position is paid year round. This is a great opportunity to work during the school year and enjoy summers off! Position Summary: Inspect, repair and maintain school bus fleet and associated vehicles and equipment. This position reports to the Lead Technician or Fleet Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
Repair all school buses and vehicles.
Routine and regular servicing on vehicles and trailers.
Inspect school vehicles at their required intervals.
Use electronic and other diagnostic tools to identify, locate, and predict necessary repairs.
Maintain records of all vehicle inspections, repairs and services.
Maintain accurate and neat inventory and storage of tools and parts.
Maintain a clean, safe, neat bus barn facility in accordance with all best practices and regulatory requirements.
Drive or tow vehicles where needed to accomplish repairs, inspections or services.
Work with other technicians to accomplish shop and department priorities.
Monitor operation tempo and schedules to forecast needs and prevent potential shortfalls.
Monitor two-way communications and assist with issues as they occur.
Listen to drivers' concerns and instruct drivers as needed.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Medium and Heavy truck mechanical experience required. Light automotive mechanical experience is a plus. School bus mechanical experience is highly preferred.
Required Skills
Ability to obtain a Colorado Commercial Driver’s License Class B, with BP2-S endorsements. Must follow all CDL, CDE, and School District driver qualifications including background checks and drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to obtain a CDE Annual Inspector’s Certificate (for an additional $1/ hour)
Be a positive role model for drivers, able to communicate and instruct them on the proper use and driver level maintenance of their vehicle.
