David L Rahn is currently looking for an instructional aide. The position is 7.0 hours a day, 5 days a week during the student attendance year. Starting wage is based on the Oregon Education Support Personal contract and is $10.50 per hour. Applicants are required to have a paraprofessional certification registered with IL State Board of Education. Manage and process all books/inventory for the District
Enter all books/inventory into the system for the District
Adjust records in marc records, enter and maintain all records into/for the PrairieCat system
Manage the library website
Assist with some cataloging needs
Monitor and assist students at the High School library
The ideal candidate would possess:
data entry skills
Be familiar with software – Microsoft, Destiny library software, and Sierra library software
Familiar with current technology systems and trends.

Special Education 1:1 Aide for Individual Student
The job of the Para-educator One on One Classroom is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of a special needs student in the classroom ; assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior; and providing information to appropriate school personnel.
Paraprofessional Certificate or eligibility to obtain certificate is required at the time of application. Paraprofessional Certificates must be obtained by the employee start date. Paraprofessional Certificate requirements are as follows:
Be at least 19 years of age and;
Show proof of one (1) of the following requirements:
Associate's degree or higher; or
60 semester hours of coursework; or
High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS ParaPro test; or
High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT Work Keys test:
Applied Mathematics/Applied Math — 4
Reading for Information/Workplace Documents — 4
