    Rush City Schools is in search of a part-time Custodian II.

    This position is an as needed position with no guarantee of hours. Cleaning duties include mopping, sweeping, carpet extracting, vacuuming, dusting, washing walls, windows, painting, sanitary fixtures, etc. Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Compensation follows Teamsters Local #320 bargaining agreement, starting at $16.11 per hour.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide support to students in academic and behavioral settings.
    • Assist in implementing instructional and behavioral plans under the guidance of teaching staff.
    • Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
    Qualifications:

    We are currently seeking substitute teachers to have on call. A teaching license or a short-call substitute license is required. A Short-Call Substitute license can be obtained through the Minnesota Department of Education. To obtain a short-call substitute license the candidate must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Minnesota candidates that have completed student teaching through a teacher preparation program, but do not yet have a bachelor's degree awarded may apply for this license. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a candidate may evidence five years of work experience, an associate's degree, OR a professional certification from an approved certifying organization that is directly aligned to a Career and Technical (CTE) or Career Pathways licensure field.
