One year related experience in food services in a school setting is preferred. ? Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card ? Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: ? Provide ongoing staffing support to schools and departments. ? Assist Cook in preparing meals. Prepare salads, (vegetables, and fruit desserts) for the serving line. ? Practice good personal hygiene, sanitation and safety rules daily. ? Serve on the tray line using proper portion control to meet USDA requirements and prepare the cafeteria counter. ? Store supplies in pantries, freezers, and refrigerators in the proper manner. ? Wash dishes, pots and pans. ? Wash tables after each meal. Wipe off door handles and area around the dish room window. ? Sweep and mop cafeteria, dish-room, kitchen, and refrigerators, freezers, and lockers room. ? Take out trash, wash cans, put in new liners, and return to designated areas. ? Clean the restroom and kitchen hand bowl daily, keep soap and paper towel dispensers. ? Fill the milk cooler on the serving line. ? Attend workshops and in-service training when offered. ? Be courteous when dealing with students, staff and the public. ? Maintain a clean janitorial closet. ? Report any needed repairs to supervisors as soon as they are noticed. ? Adhere to the District vision, mission, core values, and goals in collaboration with staff. ? Demonstrate the ability and desire to provide outstanding customer service. ? Demonstrate a high regard for confidential and sensitive information. ? Ability to read and communicate in English. ? Ability to obtain and maintain a current health card. ?
