Description: 4 days per week working District wide as a Registered Nurse. 7 hours per day. $225 per day. This position follows the school calendar and is required to work summers during extended school year programming.
Job Summary: Provides substitute and additional coverage as needed in all schools serving pre-kindergarten through high school. This position will float among the schools on an established rotational schedule if/when substitute coverage is not requested/needed. This position may also provide nurse coverage for individual students, field trips or organized school activity days as requested. The float nurse will provide the fullest possible educational opportunity for each district student by minimizing absence due to illness and creating a climate of health and well-being in the district school. Orienting is provided for working 1:1 with students and for each health office.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. RN license, CPR and First Aid certification. Job Summary: School Crossing Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety of school children by directing the car traffic to appropriate locations as students are picked up from school. Qualifications: School crossing guards must be high school graduates or have GED. Candidates for this position must have in depth understanding not only of traffic signals but traffic patterns and behavior as well. They should meet all state or federal requirements, as well as successfully pass a background check. They should know basic safety procedures and practices relevant to their job as school crossing guards. They should be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Full time, year round position in the Technology department as Information Technology Support Coordinator,that supports all schools in the Bedford School District, beginning June 2026. This position is responsible for performing administrative duties that ensure the effective and efficient operations of the technology department. This includes: disseminating information to staff, technology purchasing and budget tracking, account management and providing end user support in the operation and administration of the district's hardware and software systems. Administrative system functions include, but are not limited to, financial management systems, student information management, special education systems, nursing software, library automation systems, and internal and external communications systems.
Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a technology support capacity. Technical and end user knowledge of MacOS, Windows and i0S operating systems. Advanced knowledge of student information systems (PowerSchool preferred), Library Automation Software, Nursing software, Transportation Systems, Food Service Systems and the integration of these systems. Experience with i4see state reporting requirements a plus. Advanced knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software including Google Apps, Google Sites, Gmail and Web 2.0 applications. Good interpersonal skills necessary for extensive interaction with school staff. Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
