Maintenance Technician
Summary
Under general supervision of the CITO, performs skilled work in maintenance trades with experience in our 21st Century Operations department. Trades include the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, equipment repairs, HVAC, sprinklers, welding, locksmithing, and repairs. This individual will provide a high level of customer service to all students, staff, and administration to keep the buildings operating at a high standard level. The ability to work independently and as a team is required. Assisting in project planning, scope of work, quoting, will be required at times. This person must be a problem solver, cost saver, and provide a high level of customer service and knowledge daily. Our organization follows the Six Sigma 5S method of organization.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to document solutions and resolutions into ticket / knowledgebase system.
Physical Demands:Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, climbing including ladders, and continuous standing while working. May be exposed to dust, dirt and chemicals. Work is both indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to inclement weather. The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, and stoop.
