Applying for currently posted vacancies or Candidate Pools*:
Once your application has been reviewed/approved you will receive an email indicating that your profile has been made active. If you are a new applicant, please complete all sections of the application.
Tips for completion and speedy response:
- On the reference page, list your current, immediate supervisor as the first reference and SEND the form immediately. You may also send out additional professional references as applicable.
- Complete all pages of the application. This includes work history. If there is a GAP in work history longer than a year, include the reason for the GAP.
- Include all education. Upload Official conferred degree transcripts and certifications/credentials as applicable.
- Applicants seeking employment must disclose any and all criminal history including information that may have been expunged from record. See Hiring Guidelines for additional information.
- Click “Finish and Submit” at the end of the application. This must be done for each subsequent position applying to.

Instructional and Administrative applicants are highly encouraged to attach the following documents: certifications, OFFICIAL transcripts, current observations and/or evaluations, artifacts and documents (student data and/or proven results) which may provide hiring managers past practice and performance data. An active application is the first vetting tool in the interview process for all hiring managers.
* What is a Candidate Pool?
Be sure to complete the “Position Desired” page within the application. In addition to applying to a specific Vacancy (on the “Vacancy Desired” page) the “Position Desired” page helps to ensure that your application can be considered for future openings when they become available. We strongly encourage instructional and site-based administrator applicants to include completion of the “Position Desired” page to be considered in a district wide "Pool" of candidates.

Current custodial, student nutrition, security, and transportation employees seeking employee transfer into the same bargaining group OR current instructional support or instructional employees seeking transfer into an HSEF position MUST apply online via AppliTrack for interview consideration.
Employees who are currently working in any capacity in Hillsborough County Schools are encouraged to complete an internal application when seeking transfer. By completing an internal application, current employees may directly apply through AppliTrack to advertised vacancies.
