    Qualifications:
    • Iowa Teaching License Required
    • 4-12 Music endorsement with instrumental Orchestra emphasis required
    • Piano skills desired
    • Possess a working knowledge of all stringed instruments, methods, pedagogy
    • Highly-motivated enthusiastic teacher that will help to instill in our diverse students a desire to develop life-long skills
    • Possess desire to work with team to create a vertical alignment of program
    • Strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strength in positive problem solving, collaboration and teamwork
    • Possess strong organization skills
    • This candidate should employ a variety of teaching strategies and use differentiated instruction and assessments, taking into account the learning needs of elementary, middle school and high school children
    • Experience working with diverse cultural population
    • Experience working with At-Risk Students
    • Candidate must exhibit a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
    Working Conditions:
    Employee must be able to sit, stoop, bend, and walk as needed on a daily basis. While performing duties within this job, employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor conditions. The noise level in this work environment ranges from mild to loud.
