    K-12 Technology Integrationist
    Part-time Hourly
    Job Goal
    The goal of the Technology Integrationist is to enhance learning through improved integration of technology.  The primary focus of the Technology Integrationist is to enrich and support teaching and learning while strengthening the technology skills of students, teachers and staff. The Technology Integrationist collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical resources to support, manage, optimize the use of instructional software, and network resources to support quality teaching and learning.  The Technology Integrationist will work under the supervision of the Superintendent and in collaboration with the building principals to support school improvement efforts and build the technology instructional capacity of the principal and teachers.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Collaborate with teachers in composing effective technology infused, content based lessons, and support teachers as they implement the lessons in the classrooms.
    2. Provide assistance and training to administration and building instructional staff in the integration of technology to support student achievement. This includes planning and implementing job-embedded professional development and workshops for individuals, small groups, and large groups.  Collaborate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional technology materials and software.
    3. Works with curriculum staff to develop and implement technology enhanced curriculum integration projects.
    4. Provide leadership in developing and implementing technology plans and serve on the district technology committee.
    5. Gather and disseminate information relevant to instructional technology.
    6. Conducts research about advancements in technology tools and resources to inform decision making.
    7. Conducts staff development and supports community awareness initiatives.
    8. Develop and enrich instruction through various platforms; such as, Google Classroom.
    9. Enhance the district’s social media accounts to support instruction.
    10. Works independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
    11. Performs other duties as assigned that will enhance learning for the district student’s and staff’s success. 
    1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a teaching certificate and experience with technology or computer science.  Work experience will be considered.
    2. Successful experience or knowledge of integrating technology to support, manage, optimize the use of instructional software, and network resources to support quality teaching and enhance learning.
    3. Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
    4. Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
