Title: Head Football Coach
Reports to: Activities Director and Secondary Principal
Job Description: Crestwood High School is looking for a head football coach for the 2018-2019 school year. Crestwood High School is located in Northeast Iowa in Cresco, IA, the 7-12 Secondary School has just under 600 students and is part of the Northeast Iowa
Build a 7-12 Football Program, working with all coaches collaboratively to have success at the varsity level
Provides guidance for the junior high program.
Selects, supervise, trains and assigns duties as needed for all assistant coaches.
Support multi-sport athletes
Support year long strength and conditioning programs
Build positive culture on and off the football field
Focus on personal relationships
Communicate and build partnerships with community and parents
Build athletes on and off the field focusing on responsibility, conduct, and character
Report and communicate meetings, practices, and camps to the Activities Director
Inventory equipment annually and work with Activities Director to purchase and update as needed
Coordinate with Activities Director before and after contests
Organization of all football related events, practice, games etc
Update the IHSAA when necessary and work with the athletic union to ensure program is up to date and knowledgeable of changes
Show concern for the safety and well-being of athletes
Demonstrate proper care of injuries and injury prevention
Promote sportsmanship at events and practices
Coordinate with the high school program to prepare and implement practice plans and set yearly goals for each team as well as the program as a whole
Demonstrate knowledge of and abide with the rules and regulations governing the sport
Supervise weight room during off season and summer months, coordinate with other weight room supervisors
Command respect and set the example
Remain ethical in dealing with others
Cooperation with other Coaches
Share knowledge and cooperate with other coaches
Display respect for other sports and programs
Consider your program one of many rather than the only program
Professional Responsibilities / Public Relations:
Provide supervision and administration of team members in regard to contests and events, practices, buses and locker rooms
Cooperate with the various staffs and administrations
Accept recommendations and suggestions from activities director/secondary principal
Adheres to all financial procedures and policies of the school district.
Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization
Knowledge of sport

The Howard-Winneshiek CSD School District is seeking a High School Business teacher at Crestwood High School for the 2018-2019 school year.
The position calls for teaching students in business, accounting, and other classes related to business curriculum. Additionally, there may be consideration for coding and video production. The candidate must have a valid Iowa Teacher’s License and hold a 5-12 Business endorsement. Depending on skills the candidate can present, additional FTE may be considered.

1.0 FTE HS Math Teacher The Howard-Winneshiek CSD School District is seeking a High School Mathematics teacher at Crestwood High School for the 2018-2019 school year.
State of Iowa teaching license with 5-12 Math endorsement is required. The ideal applicant will be a subject matter expert in math, able to differentiate instruction, able to openly and honestly collaborate with peers, able to use technology systemically to enhance opportunities for learning, and committed to maximizing the learning potential of all students. The applicant will join a three person math department at Crestwood High School. Specific teaching duties will be adjusted to match the strengths of the right applicant as they fit with the other members of the math team.
