GWAEA is searching for up to 5 accomplished current or past administrators to serve elementary principals as a leadership coach. The role of the Leadership Coach is to equip and support elementary principals in their efforts to develop a deeper understanding of the high-leverage actions that instructional leaders use to improve instruction within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework.
Knowledge, Skills, and Dispositions for this consulting opportunity include:
Minimum of five years of supervisory experience
Evidence of past success as an instructional leader
Demonstrated ability to develop leaders
Extensive instructional knowledge and experience
Experience leading and managing change efforts
This coaching role will require 6 full days out of the school year for coaching and leadership professional learning as well as the ability to provide 30 hours throughout the school year (3 hours/month) of on-site leadership coaching to an individual principal.
