BASIC FUNCTION: Support office functions in Continuing Education Office and interface with NCC Business Office. Responsible for day-to-day management of Continuing Education registrations, billing, receipting of all class sections, and assisting at the Business Office window.
Preferred – Two-year accounting degree.
Bilingual in English and Spanish languages.
Copies of all academic transcripts are required. Unofficial copies are acceptable at the time of application. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, a complete set of original transcripts will be required.
Register students via the telephone, e-mail, or in person including obtaining demographic information and payment information.
Prepare contracts for Continuing Education instructors.
Deal courteously and tactfully with the public, both over the phone and face-to-face contact in a positive and professional manner.
Enter CPR and EMS section reports into Colleague and register students into these sections.
Update student information as necessary.
Prepare and maintain Continuing Education records and reports.
Manage class section cancellations.
Work with outside entities to organize group meetings to be held on NCC campus.
Compile statistics and information for year-end reports.
Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook E-mail, and Datatel Management System or other required software to complete day-to-day responsibilities.
Assist in proofreading of Continuing Education tabloids, brochures, and other documents.
Manage the development and maintenance of current e-mail lists for professional groups.
Maintain documentation and verification of appropriate certificates of students and follow-up with mailing of appropriate certification to these facilities.
Assist students/parents at the Business Office window and over the telephone.
Receipt in payments.
Prepare student account statements.
Serve on College committees.
Perform such other duties and functions as assigned.
