Dallas Center-Grimes is seeking a 1/2 time Elementary Music (K-5)/5th grade band at Dallas Center Elementary.
Full time with benefit package including vacation and health/dental insurance. This is an opportunity to join our team as a valued member. This is a year-round position, evening hours during the school year and daytime hours in the summer. All positions require a valid drivers license and high school diploma or GED. Requirements include general cleaning and maintenance, snow removal, grounds upkeep, and moving equipment. This position will work to enhance student learning by providing a safe and clean environment in which to learn. Full Time Benefits Include: • Starting Wage $14.00 per hour • Paid personal, holidays, & sick leave • IPERS retirement • Seasonal hours when school is not in session • 40 hours a week
Physical requirements include bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing-pulling, standing and walking frequently. A functional physical will be required upon offer.

Specific duties include repairing, rebuilding, and replacing bearings, motors, heat exchangers, air conditioning compressors, heating boilers, ventilation and A/C systems; order and maintain inventory. Salary Range: 45,000 - 47,000 Education and Related Work Experience: • High School diploma or equivalent • Vocational school or short term courses in EPA/C.F.C. universal certificate. Requires formal training in two of the following areas: chillers, cooling towers, boilers, furnaces, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment • Experience of five years or more in HVAC service and repair • Knowledge of CSI building control systems preferred

High School Counselor Secondary professional school counselor, Masters in Counseling required. -Plan and promote programs which enhance the academic, social and/or emotional growth of students. -Help students develop post-secondary educational plans -Address the needs of all student through prevention and intervention programs that are part of a comprehensive school counseling program -Provide services to students, parents, school staff and the community through curriculum, individual planning, and responsive services -Address students' academic, career, and social/emotional development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing a comprehensive school counseling program -Focus on student outcomes, teach student competencies, and deliver content -Incorporate organizational assessments and tools that are concrete, clearly delineated and reflective of the school’s needs -Analyze school and school counseling program data to determine and show the impact of the school counseling program on student achievement, attendance and behavior -Use data to guide future action and improve future results for all students -Support a safe learning environment and work to safeguard the rights of all in the school community
Potential part-time and full-time associate positions needed for middle school - to assist students with special needs in individual, small group and/or large group settings.
