    HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm
    Snow removal and on-call coverage duties may require overtime, early morning or evening hours and weekends as needed.

    Wages: $16.05/hour - $27.90/hour; based on position, similar work experience, and certifications or training. Supplimental compensation available for applicants with field specific journeyman's, hydronics, master's or equivalent license. Excellent benefits package including health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time and retirement savings.

    The position reports to the district maintenance supervisor and primarily perform routine, skilled work in the repair and maintenance of the West Des Moines Community School District buildings and equipment. This position requires trade specific training and experience as an HVAC technician, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter or Locksmith/Door repair technician. Training should be from an accredited community college or union trade organization. Other duties include some general maintenance tasks and snow removal duties as assigned.
