  •   BCLUW Community School District is seeking a part time (some flexibility in days / FTE available) K-12 Librarian / Media Specialist.  Applicants should possess strong technology integration skills. 

    BCLUW has a tradition of success in academics, fine arts, extracurriculars, and has strong community support.   BCLUW High School has earned distinction as an “Apple Distinguished School” the past several years, and was one of the first 1:1 programs in the state.  Teachers are issued a MacBook, iPad, and teachers also have access to other modern equipment and technologies.  BCLUW is searching for dedicated teachers that are highly skilled, enthusiastic, innovative, risk-takers, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    BCLUW Community School District is conveniently located in central Iowa, approximately mid-way between the Des Moines and Cedar Falls / Waterloo regions.  Serving the communities of Beaman, Conrad, Liscomb, Union, Whitten, and portions of rural Marshalltown, BCLUW has a Preschool - 12 enrollment of approximately 600 students.  The district maintains an elementary and high school in Conrad, and a middle school in Union.
