Atlantic High School seeks a progressive educator to provide instruction to high school students in multiple areas of Industrial Technology; to develop in each student an insight and understanding of industry and its place in our society; to discover and develop talents of students in the technical fields; to develop practical problem-solving skills related to the materials and processes of industry; to develop in each student, skills in the safe use of tools and machines; to prepare students with the technical skills needed to be successful. Our district works closely with community business leaders. We have collaborated to create pre-apprenticeship programs. Our lab areas have up-to-date equipment along with a strong variety of resources (standard power tools, CNC Plasma cutter, laser engravers, etc.) Career Technical Education also has additional funding resources thanks to a very supportive District Foundation group.
